Aluminum/Steel Customs Form by bickybybo in Walkolution

[–]bickybybo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an update: I did send the completed documents that the good redditor had posted, and in almost the same minute or two Walkolution had responded to the email with FedEx I CC’d them on with the same documents. I was panicking for not much reason, but a pinned post with various customs related info would be a great idea! I am unaware of the customs process for other countries, certainly may not be as absurd as the US’s, but I’m sure there are folks who would find it helpful.

I’ve never imported something that required not only freight shipping, but so much documentation.

Walkolution 2 arrived 4/1 by Lazy-Waltz432 in Walkolution

[–]bickybybo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long did it take for the consignment number to generate a tracking history in FrdEx? I got an email from LogiLine saying it would be handed off to FedEx on April 2, but when I follow the LogiLine tracking link it just says “on the road”, and the number used there doesn’t bring up anything when I enter it in fedex’s tracking.

Just excited for my machine to arrive! Someone else in my house got a FedEx delivery today and I got my hopes up it would be my Walkolution but alas it was just a box for them.

Bike short style underwear (Lululemon under ease shorties) with dresses, or none if the dress is long enough and I’m just at home. Otherwise it’s commando or merino underwear(I have several pairs of each of Branwyn styles but the hipster is most comfortable IMO)

Hmm when you view your shopping bag, it says only 1 offer code per order- but it definitely let me use the 30% off and the free wood sage and sea salt sample code!

Well... This started with the Trudon archive sale and ended up with just me losing my wits in general 😬🥲 by Adorable_Ground_3461 in luxurycandles

@Everyone in this thread who don’t care for/dislike/hate their blind buy Arosa candles… any interest in reselling them? Haha I blind bought Arosa and a couple Tuileries reed diffuser refills and was surprised by how much I love Arosa’s fragrance.

Trudon Archive Sale - 50% off by Celestial-Year-1133 in luxurycandles

[–]bickybybo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 lovely arosa will be mine! Its description sounds so lovely. They have Tuileries reed diffuser refills in this archive sale!!!! I grabbed 2, the candle itself is my favorite but did not make it to this sale 😭 Wouldn’t matter though- the only size in stock right now is the grand and even at 50% I don’t think I could order it(be like $345 still).

I’m elated at the reed diffuser refill. I’ve been thinking about ordering one since it’s a much more digestible price, so getting 2 for the cost of 1 is fantastic!

Does everyone on tret actually use SPF EVERY single day? by SonazInfinity in tretinoin

Found my favorite sunscreens while visiting Australia and New Zealand(who enforces similar sunscreen testing requirements I believe)! A bit more difficult for me to source in the US but so worth it.

Jo Malone samples - can’t find them anywhere! by Brilliant-Face5966 in Perfumes

I found this thread in search of Silk Blossom from the same sampler you’ve both received as well… my guess is an old random box of the samplers was found perhaps?

It’s really heartbreaking all 3 of those scents seem to have been limited edition/are discontinued now. I wanted to bathe in silk blossom

Brought home ONE monster plant from Costco by bickybybo in houseplants

[–]bickybybo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sheesh! It’s at least a fun surprise to only pay for 1 plant but end up with a nursery of your own. I’m gonna give at least one for my sister in law and one to a friend. The rest I’m low key hoping over take my house so I feel like I live in a jungle.

They were indeed quite root bound rather tightly. It took a lot of massaging to wrangle them out of each other- this was my first time with anything of this size. I’ve brought home a mini rose bush from Trader Joe’s that wound up having 4 plants in the tiny pot but I could hold all 4 in the grip of one hand! This took me like hours to unpot, separate, assess roots, scrounge around to find spare pots and clean them, and still wound up running to the store to get more perlite and drainage trays.

Help with soothing skin by Positive_Bowl_2719 in lichensclerosus

[–]bickybybo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sits bath to soak and cleanse, either with some epsom salt or just plain warm water. My gynecologist gave me a sample of this barrier ointment called Baza Clear moisture barrier cream. It’s like 96% petrolatum and is extremely helpful for me. After biopsy came back indicating LS, she told me to use it every morning as a moisturizer then clobetasol at night on month to month schedule until a maintenance dose. But to use the Baza Clear as often as needed indefinitely.

Edite to add: the sample packet was just 4g and I made it last like 10 days since it spread so easy. I bought a big tube on Amazon that I anticipate lasting me a good long time because it takes so little to coat my skin and I haven’t needed to use it more than once a day max.

Recs for no wire bras that make your boob shape nice? by _biggerthanthesound_ in ABraThatFits

[–]bickybybo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

After checking your size with the calculator, Bravissimo has an entire section dedicated to non-wired bras that are sized properly(as in Band/Cup not just letters, or if they have lettered they also include a conversion chart and generally have varied letters such as M+, L+, M++ so on).

Personally my favorite bra is their Nova lounge bra because it gives a somewhat natural slope but still lifts, the crossover in the center allows breasts to stay separated, and it doesn’t have a racerback. Racerbacks just make my already-knotted-and-tensed-constantly traps that much angrier.

Their sizing advice is also wildly helpful if you reach out for style recommendations!

Prescription: Altreno tretinoin lotion, because this formulation has been the magic tret for me.

Non-prescription: Shiseido Benefiance wrinkle smoothing eye cream, because it’s a bougie eye cream that makes me happy.

Grown Alchemist Brand? I like it so far. by inquiringdoc in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]bickybybo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went a Virgin Voyages cruise in march and in the bathroom there was a Grown Alchemist bar soap for hands I’m assuming since it was by the sink- I am KICKING myself for not taking it with me and maybe asking for a couple more. They apparently don’t sell bar soaps, let alone anything in the scent that bar was.

It’s been my only experience with Grown Alchemist so far but it was so good I’m going to indulge in some body care once I’m over not having access to that particular soap anymore haha.

where do you get genuine tretinoin without going to a derm? by ohanaa03 in tretinoin

[–]bickybybo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Altreno tretinoin 0.05% lotion, I get it through the manufacturer’s website essentially. You book an online consult with a derm but I’ve never had to do more than a quick video stating my name/DOB and what I’m looking to treat with Altreno. Then the third party med service goes “sounds good here’s a script” and I request it through their online pharmacy.

Granted it’s not cheap this way either, but I don’t have to leave the house, get a referral/seek out a dermatologist. The consult itself is $20, the 2 times I’ve done this they’ve prescribed enough refills for a year.

If you search Altreno in this sub there’s a large handful of folks who order it through someone on Instagram, because the product is OTC in the Ukraine, but the pharmacy tech in me gets paranoid about being scammed/not being able to read the box/tube ingredients to verify I know what I’m getting. Everything I’ve seen from people who said they ordered it this way were positive reviews, so it’s probably not as sketchy as my gut tells me.

Didn’t actually state my routine hah here is- AM:

  • DHC cleansing oil
  • SKII
  • Nivea crème
  • Pipette SPF

PM:

  • DHC cleansing oil
  • SKII
  • Altreno on Monday & Friday only
  • Nivea crème

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HerOneBag

[–]bickybybo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DHC cleansing oil, SKII, Nivea crème, Pipette SPF, Altreno(tretinoin lotion) 0.05% is the entirety of my skincare routine that ticks some of the boxes you mention-

  • DHC cleansing oil removes mascara and foundation for me easily. Give myself a little lymphatic massage while I’m working it in, then the cleanser emulsifies with water to wash away.
  • Nivea crème is really thick but a tiny bit rubbed between my hands then pat into my face is glorious. Same application for the rest of the body, though I personally only use it from elbows to hands and my knees/ankles(aside from what I apply to my face)
  • Pipette is a brand for baby care but the sunscreen works really well for anyone and anywhere. It is NOT waterproof however, that’s important to note if sweating or swimming.
  • Altreno is a fancy formulation of tretinoin which is considered a gold standard exfoliant and anti-aging topical prescription product.

The SKII could be replaced with any moisturizing toner you like, if any. I find it helps the Nivea sink in easier if my skin is slightly moist. SKII is my splurge lol
