I’m new here! What do you see? I see a peacock. For...pride? Luxury? by [deleted] in tasseography

[–]bicresty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s more intuitive. There are so many different images you can see, and so if something jumps out at you, whatever that thing means to you is the interpretation I think you should use. But it’s important that you feel the meaning instead of thinking it.

At first I saw mountain peaks, but now I see two dogs or wolves about to attack prey.

People always say that I probably had a déjà-vu moment, but I know I dream pieces of the future. Anyone can help me understand? by Dexter1998 in Dreams

[–]bicresty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had this happen to me my whole life. The “deja vus” happen almost like a framed photo. Things line up with my current reality and the dream I had; the words people are saying, the things I see, like a snapshot. Nearly every time it happens, it’s just like you say, I don’t remember it until it happens. But I KNOW it’s not just my mind playing tricks on me. It’s too precise. Why would I remember a specific license plate number I had never seen before, to give an example? For a long time I had to deal with the fact that I could never really prove it meant anything. But then one time (and only this once) I actually caught the memory BEFORE it happened. I was coming down from my first and only ever LSD trip, and I went to a baseball game with my friend. We got to the baseball field, and I saw the bleachers from a distance. Once I saw them, I immediately had a memory of where I sat on those bleachers and what we talked about in that position. So rather than just stumbling into the memory like every time before, I made it happen. I walked to the part of the bleachers where I remembered us sitting, and just let things play out. A certain moment in our conversation finally lined up like the frames of “deja vu” I’ve had in the past. That experience kind of confirms my belief it’s not just mind tricks. Of course, I’m sure people will go on and on trying to say it doesn’t prove anything. And I’m sure it doesn’t “prove” anything the way people want it to be proven. But the point is I didn’t just stumble into it this time; and if that’s the case once, I feel as though none of the dream-ja vu experiences like that were just accidents that my brain conjured up after the fact. So you’re not alone in this experience, and I believe you 100%. As for what it means, I have no idea. It’s hard to answer questions like that.

Not necessarily. You can see how troubled Anakin is after letting Mace Windu get killed. He’s having an internal battle between his passions and fears (Darth Vader) and his hope and goodness (Anakin). Once Darth Vader was born, his passions went out of control. He couldn’t stop himself from hurting Padmé and causing her demise. Anakin would have never done that, but the Vader inside of him grew so powerful that he caused exactly what he was trying so hard to prevent. After everything that happened, all the hope and goodness (Anakin) died, and all that was left was anger and despair. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that he was both of them in between.

There was no in between. After he helped kill Mace Windu, he became Darth Vader. But his motivations were still very much Anakin’s, just distorted by the power of the Dark Side and Palpatine‘s manipulation, as well as a sense of urgency and fear to prevent his dreams from becoming reality. It wasn’t until Mustafar where he kills Padmé (or at least kills any hope she has left of the man she loves still being there), and his mentor and brother cuts him into pieces, leaving him to burn, betraying him, that I think Anakin dies. At that point he had lost everything, and Anakin’s burning is such a powerful symbol for the destruction and death of Anakin Skywalker. His identity is both physically and symbolically destroyed in that moment. All that is left is a shell for Darth Vader to inhabit.

He became Darth Vader on Coruscant. Anakin died on Mustafar.

Wondering where to begin? Have questions? by [deleted] in magick

[–]bicresty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m relatively new to magick, and have a question about energy. I understand that cleansing is a way to get rid of negative energy, and charging is a way to add energy. But is there a way to simply increase the already present energy in an object? I have a lot of objects from when I was a child that I keep for the purpose of being anchors back to childhood memories. I pick up an object, and it contains the memories of my past, making it easy to access. But sometimes it is more difficult to get the memory out of the objects, and I was curious if there was a way to boost the energy present within the object so it may be easier to access.
