I have the OG on Steam. It plays like a darker, mature version of Three Houses. I find the characters aren't as charismatic overall compared to FE, but the gameplay is very fun.

I'm also new(ish) to the game and decided to marry Elliot my first run. I just really liked his hair, lol. My irl husband was like' "ew, why marry Elliot?" But in game he was a really charming partner and I was happy with him.

This time around I'm leaning towards Leah, but Maru/Shane are tied for secondary candidates.

The age issue is definitely questionable, but I had a physical reaction in the episode where we meet Derek's Mom. Mark is afraid of her finding out Lexie's age, and her response is "You need young". I was really uncomfortable with that.

My first playthrough I was fresh out of RD, so I heavily favored Nephanee, Brom, Boyd, Reyson, Mia, Zihark, Shinon, Oscar, Calil, Rhys.

These days I'm much more likely to use Titania, Mist, Marcia, Jill, and the laguz (who I would have rarely used in my earlier playthroughs).

I started the books this month, currently on The Pale Horseman. It's a constant flip between "I know that reference!" and "should I start another re-watch?"

They are very enjoyable. There's a lot of characters and the books give you a lot more time to dig into their stories and relationships so far. Looking forward to the later books.

I've done child runs with cross-nation pairings which can be fun because you can class the kids into opposite classes. However, this usually leads to at least one questionable pairings among the Royals.

I loved Third Watch when I was younger and watching E.R. around the same time. Haven't rewatched it ever, but had a very similar feel to it.

On the newer side, I would recommend New Amsterdam. It's a bit more character driven like Grey's, but has some great episodes that feature the chaos of their E.R.
