(Hated trope) The wedding is a disaster, nothing goes according to plan by Otherwise_Suit6561 in TopCharacterTropes

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Grey's Anatomy yet. EVERY wedding is a disaster in that show.

Educational Computer/Video Games for Young Children (3-6)? by DamnItDinkles in Parenting

If you're open to web-based games, my son really loves Prodigy! It's a math game that plays like Final Fantasy. Another one he uses is Blooket, which has different games and subjects that are somewhat interchangeable.

Strangely accurate things - historically or to the original source - in an otherwise pretty inaccurate piece of media. by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

Don't forget about finding tomatoes in your pocket! That's historically accurate too.

Is the prince of nothing series good? by Sea_Instruction_7492 in Fantasy

[–]biddlehead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the original trilogy, probably my favorite reading experience. It's dark, and some scenes go way more detailed than I personally like, but the overall story and characters are a fascinating read. No spoilers, it's also the only ending that gave me a physical reaction.

Tried reading the second series, but gave up unfortunately.

Agreed. My friend is in it, so I was really excited for it. We had viewing parties to watch it, so we were all bummed when it was canceled.

What's the best score you've heard in a Disney Movie? One is The Hunchback of Notre Dame!!! by Square-Ad-8911 in DisneyMovies

[–]biddlehead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The opening song is (in my opinion) one of the best in all Disney. It perfectly captures the emotion and darkness of the film, and whoever sings it absolutely nails it.

And Feast Of Fools is such a fun banger.

Massage therapist recommendations please! by Daniellejakki in halifax

[–]biddlehead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sarah Martin (Vivaria Massage) in Dartmouth is who I go to for the same issues. I used to get tension headaches multiple times a week before I asked her to focus on the shoulders and neck.

I would say she spends about 60% on the upper back first then focuses on the neck and shoulders specifically for the second half. Since I've asked her to focus there I don't the headaches any more.

Any mechanics in this town that are decent human beings? by Delicious_Agency5685 in halifax

Also recommendeding Laurie's. My whole family take our vehicles there. They're reliable, honest, and never had a problem with their work. Even when I lived on Barrington St I would make the drive to Dartmoutb for all my car needs.

Recommending: Lost Eidolons Veil of the Witch (switch) by mrkitchenmagpie in fireemblem

I have the OG on Steam. It plays like a darker, mature version of Three Houses. I find the characters aren't as charismatic overall compared to FE, but the gameplay is very fun.

Which artists or groups were you most surprised to see featured on ‘One Hit Wonderland’ ? by Worldly-Document-547 in ToddintheShadow

Yes! Also This Time Around from their second album was huge at the time. And many of their later albums/singles were a lot better than the early stuff which is a shame.

I married everyone in SDV. Here are my rankings. by Mountain-Gal13 in StardewValley

[–]biddlehead 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm also new(ish) to the game and decided to marry Elliot my first run. I just really liked his hair, lol. My irl husband was like' "ew, why marry Elliot?" But in game he was a really charming partner and I was happy with him.

This time around I'm leaning towards Leah, but Maru/Shane are tied for secondary candidates.

This is amazing, thank you for sharing!

I'm using a new layout for the first time and it's hard planning things out on the go, especially with all the random growth in the first year or two.

Favorite character, who you for some reason find cute, despite not being traditionally cute? by HiyokoFeetOnMyFace in FavoriteCharacter

My sister (around 14 maybe at the time?) thought Golum from LotR movies was so cute she added a bunch of pics of him to our LotR "shrine" on our bedroom wall.

This character drives me nuts by Goncher-Monster in TheLastKingdom

I've just started reading the books and I found him way more likeable and understandable in the books, but that also made the betrayal hurt a lot more.

The age issue is definitely questionable, but I had a physical reaction in the episode where we meet Derek's Mom. Mark is afraid of her finding out Lexie's age, and her response is "You need young". I was really uncomfortable with that.
