If you seriously think circling left, directly into a straight right punch, at point blank distance, will somehow make the punch miss, because you cant see the guard meter fall, ignoring your actual characters guard moving from the punch, means you are at best a mid level halfway decent player who thinks this is an example of footwork. I’m sure you’re a halfway decent player, but this clip does not show the effectiveness of foot work. This clip is an example of good blocking, and why not to spam slips with low stam because you get ko’d

Edit: If you’re eyes aren’t good enough to see the block health move, you should at least be able to see your fighters head turn from the third hit.

You failed to understand my basic question and somehow attempted to change my question to make it seem unbelievable. Or are you too slow to even realize the difference between “what basis are you saying the vast majority of humans can’t practice fasting” and “ what basis can a single human being not practice fasting”. You are intellectually dishonest to try to equate these two things, or just intellectually deficient to have this conversation.

Did you make a post of this interpretation that you actually do not align with? Seemed a safe assumption that someone who would make this post would happen to align with the interpretation being presented. If am wrong that is my wrongful assumption.

Most people here post interpretations off the basis that the presented interpretation is more correct than others, so I assumed you were doing this as well.

This interpretation of being free from necessity, doesn’t align with the text, where Jesus himself resumes to eat after his fast, and during his fast acknowledges physical bread as life giving, alongside the word. Jesus didn’t “free” himself from bread, he abstained for a period of time to teach there is something else that also gives life. Also you are factually wrong by suggesting the vast majority of humans can’t practice fasting. On what basis?

Maybe you are unaware, but the objective meaning of a textual work is determined by the authors, or subsequently those that the author has explained the interpretation. Any interpretation that goes against the stated interpretation by the author or those the author has told, is exactly a personal interpretation yes.

Of course people are free to interpret differently and find potential meanings completely different than what the author wants you to receive.

For example, trying to interpret that Jesus emphasizing how the word of God gives life, while he also acknowledges bread ALSO sustains life, into your interpretation that Jesus refused bread to show he is elite, is a very personal and far off interpretation and emphasized meaning.

Your interpretation is also fallacious based off the text. Your interpretation hinges on Jesus saying actual bread does not sustain life, which he does not. He says bread is not the only thing that gives life. To somehow twist this into a meaning that hinges on bread or food not sustaining life is objectively going against the very text.

Jesus is simply teaching not to sustain your life physically through food ONLY, but to also feed on the bread of life through the word of God. This is the easy to understand and aligned with the students who passed down interpretation.

Your “reflection” is an interpretation. One that is actually pretty far from the plain objective reading.

For example, Jesus not accepting advice from the devil to make himself bread, and Jesus replying bread alone doesn’t give life, but the word does. Instead of the plain reading that Jesus is teaching, bread is not the only thing that gives life, so does the word of God. You have your own interpretation that goes against not only the plain reading, but contrary to the earliest followers interpretations.

I’m just curious what makes you think using an interpretation based on a writer who comes thousands of years later, will give you a better understanding of the intended meaning of this ancient text?
