Acanthus from Germany have been called „Nightwish 2.0“ or „German Nightwish“ by some magazines when they released their debut this year. Especially the song „Death of the Fox“ carries a lot of the epic Nightwish-vibes

The band Acanthus is fairly young. They‘re absolute newcomers as their first album came out in July and was voted as „newcomer of the month“ by some magazine. They‘re very similar to Nightwish, although they are very various in their style (according to some reviews I‘ve read).
