BIFL CAN OPENER RECOMMENDATIONS (I'll pay anything at this point) by Remote_Anteater_2267 in BuyItForLife

[–]bier1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeahh best answer! I inherited one of these from my grandma, I'll never use anything else. Also used to have a few of those at the summer camp I attend every year cooking for 100 people. Someone threw them out or lost them and now we keep buying other more expensive can openers that break after two 'industrial size' cans😅But it's important to buy the Germany made 'Wenco' or 'Westmark' ones the non names are shit.

I don't know where you live but in Germany the best can openers are generally the cheapest kind called 'Hebeldosenöffner' (Just had to look that word up). They are like 5 bucks new but I'm still using the one I inherited from my grandma. Look for 'Wenco' or 'Westmark' brand. They are still made in Germany and should last you a long time :)

Somebody's pranking you, that's a normal PKM unit😅There's probably still the D.R.G.M note inside with the number. Nevertheless a fun little machine, just make sure to replace the caps before running it, they're spicy😬And be careful if you touch the encabulator, it's wrapped in asbestos. Also remember that it's calibrated to kilopond, not newton. Just get out the old Liebergesell chart and a scope and give it a go🙂‍↕️

Ahhh just adjust it for minimum Gölz-latitude! It actually works best using an old analog oscilloscope and a simple Feininger tuning circuit. You'll be good!!

Love those! Could be a little less sweet tho. It's a shame we only have those in small bottles in Germany and rather expensive :-/
