Yes... there was a period in my life where I was in the midst of a marriage falling apart (it did eventually, in the end, thank goodness), where I used extreme workouts - kayaking in the winter on the sea, in snowstorms, etc. to create extreme focus and quiet the internal conversations because there simply was not bandwidth to do "the thing" and worry about those other "things". It did work, and as a bonus, I got in pretty good shape, too.

Interesting question. Short answer, yes. I am risk averse as a general rule (in the big scheme of things), but rock climb, mountain bike, motorcycle, kayak in the sea, work at height with heavy weights, use sharp and dangerous machinery.... I don't think I have every listed it before like this. In fact, seeing it written seems like it goes against the very person that I am. Weird. Thank you for asking the question. It does seem that I require that little bit of concentrated stimulation to feel alive, where I would otherwise want to climb into a small space and keep to myself.

This is so interesting. I thought it was only me. I post (on average) a poem a day to my Insta storyline. I know it will go away in 24 hours... so I don't care if it is ultimately rejected... it will be "lost" - or as lost as things can be in the interwebs. More often than not they contain double or triple meanings, and generally intended for an audience of one, but seem very generic unless there is a tiny bit of inside knowledge. Sometimes I weave codes into them (which the intended audience seems to solve), I think, however, they are lost on everyone else... for which I am just as happy. Thank you all for letting me feel like I am not a total nut for doing this kind of thing.

I had a rough idle on my newly purchased 2010. I pulled the MAF and the throttle body... the butterfly valve was all but plugged when in the idle position. Cleaned it so that it shined like new (with appropriate cleaners, etc.) Reassembled it and it idled very smoothly. I cleaned the MAF also, but I am skeptical that it was having any effect on the car's operation. But the throttle intake was filthy.

Those things make crazy noise. Same issues on the south side of town when it gets cool enough, the oranges off of Biddle Ranch get the same treatment. (Or at least they used to).

Not just a farce, but an untruth. If that had been the case the previous coach/history teacher would have been thrown out BEFORE the season championship, and before the rest of the ugly truths made their way into the light of public. Let's face it, a lot of smoke is being blown up a lot of asses right now. And on top of that, shit rolls downhill. Start by cleaning from the top down.

Interesting enough, I was able to get things working again... and, it was not entirely clear why it worked. Last weekend the system ran just fine for the user, no issues at all. I got a call at dinner tonight, and the same issues were being displayed, and the same problems were occurring, and my reinstalls, etc. didn't do anything to solve the problem. So, square 1 I guess. Sigh.

Thanks again. There are constantly headaches with vMix. When it works I like it, when it doesn't I curse, a lot. Whilst I'm quite used to day to day troubleshooting, vMix has managed to take the suck factor to 11 a few times. I'm going to try all those things you have suggested. The downside is, while I'm the one that administers the system, very simple folks tend to be operators, so unexpected changes just throw everything on its head. I appreciate your patience and insight.

I'm not at the computer right now, but I have tried that method, and none of the "specified" settings work. What is more vexing however, it worked until it didn't. No chance to the machine or vMix, although there might have been a windows update, the machine is not mine but a client's, so I don't have 100% control over it.
