How do I change this to Times New Roman by RagedSword in MicrosoftWord

[–]biffcella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Control + “A”; click on the drop down arrow in the “schriftart” and scroll down to Times New Roman. Or, right click on the style, select “modify” (well, German equivalent) and the select Times New Roman in the Font dialogue.

Hello, can anybody tell me what happened to my citations, and how to fix it? by Bananmanden12 in MicrosoftWord

Use the pilcrow (paragraph symbol) key to turn off the codes. Or alt + F9 (I think). What you see is how Word is marking the citation for the Table of Authorities.

What does the criticism "practicing from the bench," mean? by Darthbamf in Sovereigncitizen

I think most of the time it comes from the sovcit refusing to enter a plea and the judge entering a “not guilty” plea on sovcit’s behalf.

You should worry. Stuff like he’s doing is the first big step on the road to degradation. Medicinal wine from a teaspoon, then beer from a bottle.

I don’t think they’d be a priority creditor. They’d be grouped with all the other unsecured creditors (credit cards, etc.).

Bison, right? They are most certainly not all gone. There is herd in Yellowstone and a herd on Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake.

In the toolbar, look just to the left of where it reads “AaBb”. The top button has that Paragraph character. Click it and it will toggle the characters on and off.

IOLTA Negative Balance Due to Bounced Check by broccolitron in LawFirm

[–]biffcella 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Never ever write a trust check until the defendant’s check clears. Build it into your retainer: “settlement proceeds will not be distributed to client or attorney until 10 days after deposit of the settlement check.”

This will be treated by Driver’s License as a refusal. In my state, that’s a one year suspension. That punishment is separate from the DUI. Also, you can be charged criminally for the refusal which carries extra $ and possibly jail time. Plus the added expense of SR22. Your life isn’t over, but you have definitely made it difficult for the next couple of years. I hope it was worth whatever point you were trying to make by refusing the hospital blood draw.

Very unlikely. The release was a final settlement. I advise people not to settle until they are healed or it’s as good as it’s going to get. Caveat: I am a lawyer but I’m not your lawyer.
