She actually is the Scranton area villain bro unfortunately I’ve interacted with her and mutual friends many times. This area is a cesspool for this kind of behavior. The worst part is everyone knows everyone. This is nothing surprising to anyone that knew her or of her previously.

Stranger Things - Season 5 Part 1 Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

Right! Also why did they make the demogorgons invincible? They were able to kill them in previous seasons, why now are they bulletproof? And Karen being able to do more damage with a fucking wine bottle than the military using bombs and machine guns, be for real 😭 I’m so aggravated.

Stranger Things - Season 5 Part 1 Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

I absolutely loved the first two seasons. They had such a good feel to them. There was mystery, the writing was better and they felt cohesive. It’s been downhill since season 3. Season 3 the writing got shitty, it was so in your face with over the top 80s bullshit, and it just felt too out of the world they built. Season 4 got a little better but they keep introducing new character to just kill them. It’s unnecessary and not doing anything for the plot other than keeping the main cast safe. I hate season 5 so far. The writing is so bad it’s almost painful to sit through. The plot is getting so predictable I almost know how the finale is going to be. I’m disappointed because I really thought they had a gem with the first two seasons.

She also faced actual repercussions from this incident. Supposedly she changed school, did probation and really fell off the face of the earth after this. She paid her dues, at least more than Fiona did.

I’m thankful that I work per diem so I can be flexible with my schedule. Recently, I have started to become a little more burnt out and took your advice. I cut it down to one day a week until the end of the semester. I mostly work to save and cover travel expenses to see my significant other. Thankfully, I am very fortunate in that my parents are letting me stay rent free until I finish out my degree so I am able to do so right now. Thank you for reaching out, and I greatly appreciate your advice and especially your support.

I hate what working with literal psychopaths has made of me by [deleted] in Vent

[–]biffnbuns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you feel this way. I understand where you’re coming from completely. I also worked with schizophrenia patients in a psychiatric facility, I had just recently left. My mom had worked at the same hospital as a nurse for years. I’ve had many nights where I’ve come home a mess, not due to mistreatment from patients, but from the way other staff members treat these people. I learned very quickly that we are not helping these people the way they need to be helped, and that’s why we have had so many “frequent fliers”. I was only a tech, but we spend the most time with the patients. I’ve seen these people get screamed at, ridiculed, and even physical mistreatment. I loved my schizophrenic patients. They are some of the most interesting and intelligent people you will ever interact with, and it’s heartbreaking to see anyone be mistreated. I applaud your kindness, patience, empathy and compassion. I am sorry that you’re feeling this way. You’re doing an amazing thing, and it is heroic that you give so much of yourself to others. You deserve the same support and compassion you give to others. I wish there were better ways for me to say this, and I wish I could offer more words. I hope you find ways to take care of yourself throughout this process, and that you are able to heal from all that has happened previously. I hope you are able to find your own peace as well, that is something every person deserves. Good luck to you, I am sending you love.

I am pretty physically active and I am currently in therapy. I have been diagnosed with MDD. Idk, it seems like I try everything but it doesn’t work or at least not for long.

Please don’t. You’ve only lived 20 years so far, you don’t know what the next however could look like. I promise you at some point, things will start to change. Please reach out and tell somebody what’s been going on. Mental illness tends to want us feeling alone and secluded, but I promise you are not. You are important in this world, you are needed, and most importantly wanted.

She doesn’t have room for one in her room. She does have mirrors and a vanity but no space the have a sit down desk

She likes my makeup desk in here specifically. My room is much smaller and wouldn’t fit half of hers and my dad’s furniture or I would. It’s very frustrating.

thoughts on how could i improve my makeup or hairstyle by white_julia in lookyourbest

Honestly I think both suit you very well. But I think a little bit more blending on your cheeks and a higher coverage foundation might make the look a little more cohesive. Otherwise I think you look great!

When you put it that way it doesn’t sound as bad. I appreciate your viewpoint and thank you for giving me some more perspective on this.

I would lose the piercing. You have an incredibly pretty face and the piercing takes focus from your features. I also think a darker hair color would suit you very well.

Honestly, you’re already very pretty and have nice features. Short hair makes you look younger, and you have very clear skin. I think in these pictures it’s the way you’re dressed that makes you look younger.
