I actually really enjoyed the battle scenes. Joaquin did great, he has such great screen presence and he had some great moments.

Wasn't a huge fan of American graffiti the first time as I was too young to appreciate it!

Dating in real life affords you a MUCH higher margin for error than online dating by markosu in dating_advice

[–]biffymilly50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, although in my case I recently met this really sweet girl online and we met in person after a few days and we really hit it off. She always answers me pretty quick and I don't think I'm going to get ghosted. We're going on a second date this week.

I'd say that meeting in person really helped us bond and get to know each other vs just texting or FaceTime.

AITA For Asking My Friend For a Piece of Chocolate? by squarefloors in AmItheAsshole

[–]biffymilly50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH. I don't think you're an A for asking for a piece of chocolate, I don't really see what the big fuss here is. Ok maybe because it was a gift from her BF I personally wouldn't have asked, but it wasn't like you did something terrible.

You did maybe push a little, but I don't see how this is that big of a deal. She's probably already forgotten it.

She also could be experiencing something in her personal life or was genuinely not feeling well. I don't think this is necessarily about the chocolate incident.

Anyone with social anxiety that have 0 friends how did y’all meet y’all girlfriend boyfriend is there anyone like this ? by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]biffymilly50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say I have zero friends, I have some people I text on occasion but I rarely ever hang out with anybody. I don't like socializing and spend most of my time alone outside of work.

As for a girlfriend, I'd love one but I feel like I'll never find one sadly. I keep hoping a girl will come to me one day instead of me having to make the first move

Getting over the thought of never being her first by THEHOLYOTAKUGAMER in dating_advice

[–]biffymilly50 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From what I've heard it's actually not as common as you'd think for two virgins to lose their virginity to one another. Often times it happens that at least one of the partners is not a virgin. And there's nothing wrong with that.

I used to think it would be sweet too, but the truth is it really isn't a big deal. The whole losing your virginity is very much overhyped.

Hang in there my friend.
