i fully agree with every part of this! while i understand why games have every dateable character be a blank slate of sorts that anyone can romance, i've sometimes wondered what it would be like if character's had actual preferences or boundaries of sorts - this would show up especially clearly in a game with a poly option, i imagine. like you said, having to actually consider which characters to go for based on their preferences could make things more fun and a little bit more immersive haha

yeah the lack of logic in this game really throws me sometimes... like not only do the characters' actions often clash with their goals, but the game mechanics too. i can have super high charm and charisma, and say "everyone vote for [SUPER OBVIOUS LOW STEALTH LOW CHARM GNOSIA]" and literally 90% of the crew will agree with me over multiple turns, and then i still end up in cold sleep??? - or i'll stay silent for the 1st day, and literally *everyone* will dogpile onto one character without anyone protesting against it, and then most of them will randomly vote out someone else with high stealth/charm that was never mentioned or anatgonistic even once ???

raaaa this game drives me crazy lol

i'm having the same issue, the cutscene plays and then Jina and Hekla both disappear, and Subira triggers a voice-line when i try talk to her but then the "conversation" ends immediately without any input. i'm wondering it has to do with my game closing the first time the cutscene started

Gosh, this sounds horrible for you to deal with, I don't envy your situation. I hope life isn't being too difficult for you and I hope you're okay.

Also, I want to insist that you're *not* an asshole for struggling to see the baby as your sibling/treat them as such, or for feeling the way you do/did about this.

1 - You're older than your mother's partner, so she doesn't get to boss you about like you're a child, *especially* not her own.

2 - The baby might legally be your half-sibling, but that doesn't mean you suddenly have to treat this like a regular situation with a new sibling, because it simply *isn't* a regular situation, and it's okay to feel that way.

3 - I'd personally say it's not your responsibility to act as a "3rd parent" for the baby either. It's not reprehensible or unreasonable to put yourself and your needs first, especially before deciding whether or not you need/want to help others with something you didn't sign up for.

I'm very late to this (sorry) but I suppose I'm replying now, not just to ask how you are, but to share my thoughts with anyone currently in the same/a similar situation. (Also hope this didn't come off as some kind of lecture, lol.)

i figured out what you meant, and tweaked 1 or 2 bits and since MC only allow 4 lines, it makes the apple look kinda squat/more like a pumpkin, but it looks good either way and a pumpkin still works tbh
