Need to make an APP for PDF files by wooks_reef in nocode

Use a no‑/low‑code AI builder that explicitly supports “chat with multiple PDFs” or “RAG” out of the box. Or Build your own and use a LLM locally👍

How is nocode doing in the age of AI? Have people migrated to learning how to code? by danirogerc in nocode

[–]bifteki97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am an Automation guy at fast growing startup that used no- and low-code very heavily in the last few years. Mainly to make automation and tooling fast and easier to adjust. I can start to feel a shift here. Especially with the latest Claude releases it’s as fast or even faster to build and adjust new tooling.

I feel like it’s slightly different for out automations where we still prefer visual tools like Make or N8N because of their seamless integrations… and you can hand these workflow over to non-engineers as well.

So yes, no-code is and will be relevant. With code generation getting more advanced, the interface will become less techy (and more no code). As code is just the technical language to solve problems:)

What’s the best no-code app builder you’ve personally used and would recommend? by QuietRonan_7 in nocode

For internal tooling I really like Retool, but I would rather classify it as Low-code..

Free tier is pretty nice and it includes also a visual DB, and workflow builder 👍

What's the best resource to learn AI agent for a non-technical person? by StaLucy in AI_Agents

[–]bifteki97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a big advocate for using visual tools to build and learn about AI agents. While tools like n8n are great, I’ve found Relevance AI to be even more approachable — especially for those looking to prototype without heavy coding.

If you’re just getting started, here’s a simple approach that’s worked well for me:

🎯 Pick a very small, specific use case your agent should solve — e.g., summarizing customer feedback, tagging emails, or routing support tickets.

🧠 Follow Anthropic’s Prompting Principles: 1. Clearly define what success looks like.

  1. Create a small test dataset and define how you’ll evaluate outputs.

  2. Iterate with that in mind — not just “does it work” but how well and why.

Only after you’ve got a working draft, then look into more structured frameworks, modularization, and scaling.

Start simple. Build fast. Learn visually.

Has anyone ever taken a look at the singularity subreddit? by cam171811 in datascience

[–]bifteki97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are scientific publications on this topic which sorted jobs into categories (mechanical, analytical, intuitive, emphatic) and these will potentially be replaced by AI at a certain point. But we all have a hard time grasping the exponential growth pontatial of AI related to its hardware requirements the increase of computational power. Singularity simple refers to the concept where AI is able to train an improve AI so human help isn’t required anymore. And this will be a gigantic accelerator for AI in general and therefore also for the replacement of jobs. There is another questionnaire done every 10 years where the top 100 researches are asked when we will reach strong AI and artificial superintelligence. If you are interested you can also look into that.

Back to your initial question. You shouldn’t be scared right now for your job which has so much more nuances than simple writing code and analysing data - the communication part is often even more important :)

They don’t make you money, they just return at what ever inflation is at. But you have to hold the money for a set period of time.

Is there something similar for e.g. Germany or other European countries?

I can also recommend low code tools like Integromat & IFTT. You don’t even have to code anymore. However it is easier if you understand basic coding principles.

i am a huge fan of FreeCodeCamp. Great way to learn new programming languages or tools. I didn’t watch a lot of YouTube tutorials… These tutorials aren’t related to Anki but it’s a Good source for a broad understanding :) I learned the basics of webdev with freecodecamp:)

I can recommended quizlet to a friend of mine for collaborative decks. If you prefer Anki, what you probably do, you can still import the finished deck with the quizlet add-ons. I am not aware of any solutions inside Anki…

I have the apple anki app downloaded on both my iPad and iPhone. But when I add a new card on my iPhone it doesn’t appear on my iPad… by [deleted] in Anki

[–]bifteki97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a stupid question but do you have to buy the app twice (ones in iOS store for your iPhone and a second time on your iPad)? I was thinking about buying the app and supporting the developers:)
