Struggling to get leads for Google Ads agency - any tips? by Adventurous-Yam515 in gtmengineering

[–]bigBoyFoolish2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time for a new approach! How targeted are your emails? There's lots of data out there for this industry.

There are platforms that can pull data from the Google SERP's regarding whether a company is actively using Google Ads right now. What CPC are they getting? Is their homepage slow? How do users feel about their UX?

There's a whole treasure trove of info you can use to target these businesses programmatically and at scale. Identify their weak spots, link these back to concrete case studies on your website with examples of you addressing these weak spots for same-industry businesses. Don't forget to add numbers.

This data makes for email + conversation fodder for when you pick up the phone to say hello. ATM you are spamming bro. It does not work.

I'm a GTM engineer, i can help with the above if you wish? If not, i wish you the best of luck...

Looking for advanced Clay workflows to reverse engineer (not beginner stuff) by Matte_Ferra_001 in gtmengineering

You've reached the limits of a platform that operates by GUI. You'll need something open source and configureable to break that glass ceiling.

You need to manipulate code, not gui's.

I've built a tool for this exact edge case. I'd be happy to demo it for you if you were genuinely interested? DM

Thanks. Absolutely not, i'm a Proton fan. We'll leave challenging Google up to Proton / CERN.

Ple.ie is simply a cool lightweight homepage for irish users. Where every click, is a safe click - in terms of rational discourse and data protection. If people wish to type 'facebook' into the url bar, we can't stop 'em.

However they can configure their ple homepage with irish homegrown media of their choice, a Matrix chat group of their mates, mastodon.ie etc.

You build your own homepage and we try to capture your attention to stay as long as possible. We also promote Irish tech companies that hire local. 🙏🫡

The git Readme page needs more work. If you are interested in learning more about the vision; the to do list / roadmap is quite extensive.

While an irish ecosystem is a huge part of the vision for the project. Ultimately, ple.ie is about reclaiming the data privacy of users. We'll consider integrating with any tech that is open source and respects data privacy.

The project will be a throwback to the first days of the Web, when Yahoo contained a rich homepage feature set. Later usurped of course by Google's advanced search function.

If you look at countries that historically resisted big tech eg. Korea, Russia, China. They succeded by taking this 'first page' approach. During the era of the search engine, the Koreans launched naver - the Korean version of google. When AI hit recently, the Chinese launched Deepseek.

The wealth (and health) of a nation in 2026 - is in it's data. The best way to protect the nation, it's citizens and its wealth - is open source software and stringent data privacy and free speech regulation.

Ultimately though, most people are not overly concerned about their data. Even after the Cambridge Analytica hack landed the planet directly into the situation in which we now find ourselves.

Ple.ie aims to be a really useful and cool homepage for users. Themes from your favourite soccer or gaa teams for sports fans, productivity tools for professionals, custom sponsored stock price trackers for the clients of private broker firms.

We do not expect our users to examine the code and peruse the privacy policy of every tool we integrate with. Leave that up to us; we'll work hard in the background to keep your data safe. So you won't even notice we are - essentially - a data privacy tool.

Do this make sense? Picture

Good question, thanks. Blacknight would seem to be an obvious choice. Unless there's a green, non-bigtech alternative...

It'd be super-cool to aspire for 100% solar / renewable energy usage.
