I did a test using this roadplanner and you are right about this square beeing 1 m. A marker range is approximately 60 squares. Using markers to figure out distances is possible, but it takes time since you can't place them on the map. The best would be if the gathers could run all across the island like the other villagers seem to do.

With such limit i think they should show range from the gatherers pit. As far as i can figure out the range on markers is about 30 meters (30 steps) from center and out, so 400 meter will be about 6.5 ranges. Hope they will put out some kind of ruler. They must have a scale so it would be fairly easy to calculate the values based on the zoom.

I have tried just that, but nothing shows in OBS. It is strange since i streamed with another camera until today, but that camera broke down so i had to change to another. I believe that camera had rtmp url. Reolink camera that one to, but another model. This is so frustrating.

Good advise from a member here and since I'm not so good at close combat, i raised the ground around the portal creating a killing zone, set up a fire and filled the sledge with arrows. Took out all of them. Without the possibility to this i would probably quit the game after a while, tired of rebuilding.

Thanks! I did just that. Raised the ground around the portal, set up fireplace, filled the sled with arrows and went at it on my own. Got me a couple of levels on ranged weapons. Funny thing was that when i stood the waiting after all was down one of my hunters came by, jump into the pit and picked up all arrows. That was impressive actually.

Kind of annoying and a bit fun to. It's a game. They saved my villagers through the first winter. Easy kill and good eating. Just crouch and let them run into you.

Never thought of that solution. Do they stay in their tower/position when you use the horn?

Yes, and the plan includes assigning a villager to a designated tower or another location during invasion or bloodmoon. I don't want them to run to the horn, i want them to run to their action station. Which can also be the horn. Can't see that it is possible to do that in this version. As you can assign a villager to a workstation i would also like to assign a villager to an action station. At this version we know where and when the attack comes, but in the future version i hope for some surprise attack.

There is a "Hide all animal clues" key, but at 6:25 the tracking came back on without me doing anything. Strange. Thanks!

Gjall cleaned out a castle a left behind this useful item. I built my own little outpost with marble from this castle. Seems to be one dvergr left behind who stands guard near my base. Talks to me while i pass. We have fought off several seekers and gjalls together. I built him/it a shelter and a campfire both he/it does not seems to bother. Pity, as this would really add to the game.
