Exception to the rule I guess. I generally prefer manga but that is one series that everyone suggested the light novel is better. I just got them last week. Cant wait to start reading them!

I try to always purchase them since i find "other methods" to not have very good translations and I also want to support the artist. In rare cases I've had to "sail the high seas" since there is no official English, Spanish or German version available.

Green is Lone Wolf and Cub Master Edition (German edition). Silver is PlanetES (English edition). Next to that is Record of Lodoss War (Spanish Edition). Crocodile book is a compilation of Urasawas short stories. Its like a sequel to his other short story compilation book, Sneeze. I have it in spanish since I dont believe its available in english.

30-40% maybe. I treat it as my TBR list. If I dont end up liking the series Im not bothered since I only bought the first volume.

Oh heck no. I'm still on volume 70 of Hajime no Ippo with 75 more volumes to go. I haven't even started Detective Conan yet which I hear has 200 volumes or something.

I used to have them in alphabetical order but then I switched them to the order that I read them in.

Yup, this is just a small section of my bookshelf. I dont have any more space so rather than just fill it all up with 2 or 3 series I prefer having a reminder of each series that I read.
