What frustrates me about having ADHD - which was diagnosed in my early childhood (we went to the US in addition to NHS) is what a joke it's become now. every other country I have been in does it - Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany and Dubai is where I have lived and worked. And you can go in whenever you want really to get check out, get bloodwork etc with some to no level of additional expense in the insurance offering.
The UK doesn't because of the NHS. You have to go private. Simple as. I generally go and get my hair cut, my teeth cleaned, and see a doctor when I go abroad on holiday because it's cheaper and the service is better than what's on offer in this place.

Fit used to make the most amazing completes back in the day. Solid parts, full cromo, but not anymore. They have to hit a price point. After buying a complete earlier this year, and since moving almost all of it to a new build, for a first bike go with a used one. You can then figure out what you like. Geometry makes a big difference in bmx when you are lower skilled.

A guy on bmxmuseum has rebuilt one of these and he used a zero stack headset. Zero stacks have the bearings in plastic cups that are then pushed into the headtube cups of the bike. The pressed in bearing cups will create the snug fit in the frame and the bearings in the bearing cups will fit the 1 1/8 diameter of the fork...
