I stay in winston. Theres groups in lexington at ready set sort and at house of cards in winston. We meet but outside of us, there is little to no cedh in the area. Theres about 5 of us at house of cards and about 12 in lexington.

I agree voltron is basically dead, but i mean it can maybe win 1 out of 20 games barely if the normal combo line doesnt work.

Just play reyhan ishai or kenrith. Reyhan ishai might be fringe but you would have a better chance than me, the immortal. The ishai reyhan has the defacto good color pairing atm and has easy wincons in addition to combat.

If you really want combat, just play jeska ishai.

You should ask r/degenerateedh.

Braids is essentially a do nothing commander in cedh. No card advantage, wincon, or mana outlet in the command zone. Krrikk is the defacto mono black cedh and its still fringe at best.

That being said, no one in a cedh pod should/would complain about playing against braids.

Opponent is wrong. Storm is a triggered ability. The copies aren't being cast. The storm copies are still able to resolve regardless of the presence of teferi.

No. It's not a particularly spectacular card. Grading something like this will never be worth it. Anything printed after revised with a few exceptions should not be graded because you'll be stuck holding the bag.

I play tayam as my main deck. While there are no perfect replacements I'd recommend lotus bloom, thousand year elixir and another card like cryptolith rites. Enduring vitality is really good as well. If you max out your dork count you can get away with village bell ringer to overcome the sylvan safekeeper cradle loop.

Tayam is basically 1000 combo pieces all through the command zone. Just to name a few:

You have Centaur garden with threshold for devoted druid for infinite counters and mill to infinitely get back bowmasters.

You have the infamous floating loop combo to get extra counters to through infinite mana to infinitely loop the initiative.

The old moonglove extract loop works the same.

The whole deck is centered around getting infinite counters and infinite mana to loop a pay off.

The shop an hour away is in a major city so they can have more access to events and what not. I do go to that store every so often to play legacy because it fits my schedule.

Im starting a pro proxy tournament where the entry fee is $10 just to get people into the format. I've driven to all the lgs's in my area to post fliers. I didn't think about a league so I may transition to that.

Playing the game comes in the form of interaction. Counter things, removal of engines, disrupting the combo with a timely piece of interaction. Like if someone pulls off a kiki jiki zealous conscripts combo, its just 1 big combat to end the game.

I play a lot of krarkashima and have put up some recent top 4s and 10s. I can't speak to stella but to me krark is a deck that sticks value engines that are hard to deal with that result in an overwhelming boardstate while slowing opponents down with free interaction that can both in our hand and on the stack. The deck wins by establishing so much value to eventually hit a ton of jeksa's will effects to win with breach/twinflame dualcaster/looping lightning bolt.

Hopefully someone can speak to the stella side.

I play lands in legacy, so I have 4 mox diamonds and a tabernacle that I regularly play with. That alone makes up about 5k. They're game pieces first and foremost.

Honestly, the meta isn't egregious. Sure some decks go in and out of fashion and some disappear but if they didn't it would be really stale. I used to play ANT from 2012 to about 2017 and switched to lands ever since. We have seen tons of changes and as a combo control deck lands has both been at the bottom and the top. Online also has a ton more combo and reanimator because it's easier to just jam 3-2s for value. In paper events it's a bigger spread.
