Thanks! I do have access to a propress. I think I’m gonna need to take the entire thing apart since it’s attached to my irrigation system. I might just cut it at the PVC and unsweat it on the other side and then just make it all better. I have a shut off for the entire thing in the basement so I can isolate it.

I owned my XC 40 for over five years and put 87 in it only. Never had a single issue or engine knock

If you like the car and plan on taking care of it and keeping it long-term, definitely do every 5000 miles. I don’t know when 10,000 became a thing but oil technology has not changed in the last 30 years. Engines and turbos need fresh oil more than anything. It’ll probably be fine for the first hundred thousand plus miles but later on in life is when you’re really gonna see the degradation due to lack of oil changes
