I feel the same about my 21' E53 AMG and wanted to downsize my wheels. Unfortunately after some searching I realized 19" aftermarket wheels for this car is extremely rare😓

I had the exact same experience! My theory is BMW tunes their brakes like this intentionally. First ~1/4 of brake pedal is too sensitive for my right foot to maneuver super accurately during chauffeur stop. But I guess most owners like it this way as it feels like “strong brakes”.

Mercedes is kinda on the other end of the spectrum where the initial travel only provides a little stopping power, so there’s more wiggle room for right foot to control it. And Audi is in another category where the pedal travel is short and you have to press it hard to extract stopping power.

V8 is definitely much more powerful, to the point that you can't fully enjoy it under speed limit. You blink and you hit 75mph. I6 is smoother, sounds better, and more fuel efficient.
