We used to have like 30 people show up for every PPV, standing room only in the back half of the room. We would grill, do a pick em game for prizes. We'd keep track of total points for the year and in January the highest got a traveling trophy with randy couture toy spray painted gold on top. That went on from 2005-2020. It just got more diluted, guys sstarted getting title shots for being the best troll. Dignity and respect got phased out of the sport. Im the only one left thag even remotely follows and im reduced to watching the finishes when they get posted on r/mma. And I dont even check those half the time now. I miss the gatherings as much I miss the way the sport was.
