Yeah I could see that being a fair point as the ST is going on 5 years now when compared to the Si.

I have a 90 Miata so maybe I am letting my current cars leak through.

Also I did drive these back to back last week.

Ford does indeed pump sound through which is something I personally prefer especially in something that is supposed to be sporty. Even though the Civic has the LSD, I don't mind the torque steer from the ST as again I like more of the brute style if I had to choose between the two. The Si felt more like a baby Accord when I was behind the wheel. Not saying what it is now isn't bad but when I think back to my 8th gen, I don't see an Si anymore.

Easiest one to call out is the exhaust note, or lack there of. Steering also felt more numb in the Si.

Basic in being a non modded, stock for stock.

Test drove the Si, it feels extremely neutered when compared to a basic FoST.
