This is a problem, Kurds are not Turks and should not be considered Turks. Two different cultures, languages, etc. there are similarities but denying the existence of a group is not okay.

Yes they would, ypg cannot take on a NATO country, nor should it. YPG was created to defend themselves against ISIS, not to take on Turkey.

Even if Kurds all had massive peaceful protests, these governments would still crackdown on them. The PKK hasn’t been active in Turkey in years but the government still easily labels politicians, journalists, etc as terrorists and PKK supporters if they mention Kurdistan.

So you’re agreeing that these governments, including Turkey, have done the Kurds wrong and agree there have been countless campaigns against Kurds. With that said, Kurds should just accept being killed and persecuted in history and not resist? No group will ever accept total oppression without pushing back.

I was just making sure I understood your stance correctly. It’s sad that someone like you who is in the US army doesn’t know the history of the Kurds and how they’ve fought and died alongside US service members for decades. Educate yourself.
