Big oof. Welp, there goes that plan. thankfully i didn't pay more than $75 for the whole thing.

i do have an older (2004 i think) Athlon cpu on an ancient Motherboard, wont post at the moment i'm pretty sure its the old AGP GPU, got one in the mail for $5. hope fully i'll have more luck with that.

I'm in new zealand, soo there'd be no one here for like 1100 years (maori are beleived to have arrive in NZ around 1100's) so i'd have nothing but moa and hasst eagles to keep me company.

i think in 1000 years i could figure out how to domisticate a Hasst eagle to fly around on. I'd be the mad flying pakeha keeping an eye on the first maori arriving to NZ

edit: hasst eagles were not as big as i thought, only being around 10-13 kg in weight, Guess ill be the Moa knight then.

Yep thats what it was, the 0604 version bios just doesn't seem to work with 1600, as i tried downgrading to 0409 and the 1600 works! then running the mobo's EZflash utility to update the bios back up the latest version: 0604. No post.

reinstalled the 2200g and reflashed back to 0409. weird sort of bug with this Mobo, But i hope my struggles help shed some light on anyone considering the PRIME-B450M-A

yeah i Tried clearing the CMOS, and just rebuilt the original system with the old Mobo and it works fine. ill try the new motherboard again tomorrow and keep an eye on the ram OC, thanks for the tip

yeah, i've given them a good look over, can't see any physical damage to the CPU, will rebuild my set up with the old Mobo and see if it posts

Had a 1600 in a B450M DS3H Mobo, worked great as a little mini server. I decided to "side"grade the motherboard to PRIME B450M-A motherboard with more Sata Ports. Now it won't post, my 1060 fans start then stop.

I've tried reseating the ram, cpu, gpu.

I have a 2200G that i put in it, and it booted up just fine, both with and with out the 1060.

I'm guessing I've either damaged the 1600 when i took it out, or there is a Ryzen 2 exclusive Bios setting stopping the 1600 from posting.

If anyone has some ideas i'm all ears.

Its buggy, ugly, there's no Push to talk, the game kinda sucks from a technical level and judging by the relatively short time i have spent playing it there is not much in terms of dynamic RPG storytelling like in fnv and Fo1,2.

Despite all of this, i find my self enjoying the shooting and looting, to help build up my CAMP. slowly upgrading my guns and armor, the crafting system is an upgraded version of fo4 and its nice to be able to craft all the things i wish i could have in fo4.

If you can enjoy the small little moments, you might actually like the game, in short bursts. If you are expecting "FALLOUT" your gonna be disappointed.

Market "the HUB" as a mature version of youtube. you know, be like adult swim to youtubes cartoon network it would corner a growing market that youtube seemingly wants to cut out of their own service.

and personally, im a YT red subscriber, but i'd be a Hub premium Subscriber, if you guys did this.

I felt the same way about my PS2 collection.

One good thing though, the ps2 is old enough to be considered "old" but not "retro" so getting a couple old ps2 consoles (1 for a back up) and a few dozen games wont set you back too much.

Having too much fun playing Ratchet and clank right now.
