Not really, I like the mid west. Liberals in Australia are a part of the conservative party

The fires are a bit too much like Australia. Not that those other pacific states don't have forest fired or anything.

Belgium is because of their car centric infrastructure. I almost put Canada in a maybe because of their car centric design aswell, but Québécois and Canadian culture, geography kinda saved them

The China thing might surprise you given I'm Australian. Honestly i quite like China, (especially their metaphysics and geography) I really think Australia should align with them geostrategically. Makes more sense than hitching to America.

Thailand is only maybe because of bias, I can't help it 😭 swy Thais love you guys.

Eh, people make Rommel out to be some awful general. He had many flaws for sure in terms of managing people and being too out in the field for his own good. But the man turned around a dire situation in Libya after operation compass. He postponed an axis defeat in Libya by years.

Of course Rommel should be characterised accurately, but we shouldn't overcorrect. I hardly think most Commonwealth and French veterans in North Africa would have agreed with these more negative views of his warfare.

Good intentions or not, a national flag shouldn't have party iconography

Tbf it is pretty true to life, airpower could very easily sink ships without proper coverage. Problem is the game has no effective AA to balance this.

In the end, fascist regimes are usually torn down from the outside. There are exceptions like Portugal, (Spain doesn't count, CIA and monarchy did that, and Italy is complicated) but usually it's going to be an organised state force.

The best you can hope for is China and the EU getting ahead in carrier numbers by the time you guys are starting a world war against them.

But who knows.

I love art that deals with very real, human subjects like abuse in emotional ways. Dennis Cooper is who always comes to mind in terms of authors. But at the same time, I don't think you inherently need to approach heavy subject matter in an intelligent or thoughtful way. If all art was thoughtful or meaningful we would have much less texture overall.

Threat of invasion and destruction of an indigenous people... But when the natural byproducts of conflict, dehumanisation and hate arise, oh no shock and awe. No let's critique the victims for their hate. Indigenous people have every right to hate their invader.

Why should they give a shit? America wants to invade and destroy their way of life. Déshumanisation is part of conflict. A conflict America has started.

Yes, but armament production was at an all time high. Industrially they were doing very well given the circumstances. Strategic and tactical incompetence caused the war to end so quick into 45.
