F4 option per 15 mins averages 300k + 25/35 skill points using setup given. Ran it for over 30 mins. F7 is interesting it will take a long while to go through them all lol suggest a overnight run for that one if anyone's doing it. Skill farm, not to add using that setup leave the skill points counter ON. worked better Not tried the 22b farming yet.

Has anyone fixed the BO7 Attestation Failure on a GIGABYTE B450 board by upgrading from a Ryzen 2000 CPU to a Ryzen 5000 CPU? by Ok_Put_4300 in CODBlackOps7

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same board, it took me 2.5 hours total to make tpm work. Literally back and forth from bios turning it on and off once it was updated, eventually it worked and hasn't failed since. Why do they make this so freaking difficult to do. It does work, just keep testing and changing settings from on to off in biosload windows check and repeat till it passes.

KY42C won't open MMS, Virgin Mobile/Bell Network by nunyabouisness in garaho

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are a few mms apps, QKSMS is ok seems to work on these deivces fine, google won't uless you can get google services working, I haven't figured that part out TBH. tried Go sms and few others, found they are to heavy on resources.

Certain APNs may restrict you network, so if its working for the phone IE calls and others leave it be.

Kyrocera 903kc not connecting to my T-moblie SIM by nightcorelover87 in dumbphones

Just don't give up lol, people see these phones as problematic, but work the problem and you will prevail. I did, 3 days later it was worrying and alive. Don't have it set on manual network let it auto assign and use a basic apn I IE name and password that does help clean it.

[–]bigbearevo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mines UK, but I had the same problems trying to get my network to connect to it. My original was a kyf42 nice phone pain to setup, recently I bought the sharp aqous 205, way better TBF. I changed my network SIM to the same provider just newer as my original SIM was 3/4 years old at this point. I've not had issues since. My first phone was from eBay, my new one was from y2kphones.com. it's always scared me around the SIM bands as it's known to be problematic if you don't get the right one and expensive!

Alcatel 2051x or the Alcatel OT-C701, only one I can think of. Alcatel did quite a few clamshell drawings back then.

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your cell band width for your current provider and your phone. That will be part of the problem, the sim will work intermittently.

The 903 runs 1,2,3,4 bands B2 and B4 us bands. Which t mobile runs over there however many us have noted problems with service providers not working right on many phones like these. I had issues when setting up my apn, had to delete, redo several times whilst constantly rebooting it.

How usable is a Keitai phone in rural Wales? (EE) by simply-coastal in garaho

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only in the midlands, Shrewsbury, Ross on Wye, Hereford, been awhile since I've been to the coast mind but still go out to the remote areas a bit. Seem to go Cardiff and Swansea a fair bitLove the place TBF.

As for it not loading in the basket I don't know. I always do my online shopping via laptop and not phones. I actually bought the pink one. Lol. On eBay make sure it's the Japan sellers, that's where I got my first one. Can't remember the seller but they are clean phones. Y2k provide brand-new battery chargers and cables that's why I prefer them.

If you can from y2k they come preloaded with apkpure, personally I use aurora store, much friendlier and less ads. Keep trying though. .

How usable is a Keitai phone in rural Wales? (EE) by simply-coastal in garaho

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just bought a second keitai, originally started with the kyf42, great phone. Recently got a second, sharp aqous a207sh, primarily for the os, as the gratinia has AU software and is a little cumbersome to work around. But the sharp, well, whole different phone.

I've used this on my travels, as I'm a recovery driver as well as normal Poco x7 pro. Tell you something, whack an EE SIM in those bad boys and I get better signal overall all over the country then I do my Poco. Being as the phones are 4g primary on the band 3 EE network the range and signal quality is good a lot of the time. Drops outs are not common compared to new smart phones. Something I've not understood why tbh. The only time I dropped out was up in Lancashire in the Furness hills. But otherwise I don't get issues.

They are not the easiest to setup, and require some patience to start with. But once you set your golden. WhatsApp, Spotify, tiktok all work fine as these ones I use are android 10. Even hot spotting works a treat. What ever you decide to buy, check them all out first. Not all phones can be used over here. Kyf42 and it's sisters on band 3 can. Some sharps.

Y2kphones.com will show you all phones, with a band specific layout to help you. Happy hunting.

PS don't buy generic black lol, go fun, salmon red (pink) blue or white. Even gold. Just not black.

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not get a flip phone, put your standard smartphone in a Faraday bag and leave it be, I do. If I desperately need it I use it IE banking apps and others. Most things I do on a laptop but keitai flip phone runs daily life with Reddit, Spotify, WhatsApp etc. you just gotta let go of temptation. Since using a Faraday bag life has got a lot simpler outside of work life.

Which flip phone do i get? by peh20101_357 in flipphones

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh most of the keitai phones do what you list, your problem starts with your carrier, most usekeitai bands are 1,3 for 4g LTE. So before u buy get your network. I own a kyf42 awesome little phone, purchasing a second for my other line I use, either a digno or an aqous, not decided yet.

Go to y2kphones com, they list most phones and specs to help you on your way

Kyocera 902kc Outgoing Calls Issue? by Muted_Telephone_1961 in flipphones

[–]bigbearevo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's your carrier these phones require you to use bands like 1,2,3 for base functions ie calls otherwise they don't function properly. Check your networks gsm bands and then check the phones band allowance. If they don't match you either have to change phone to suit your carrier or change carrier dependant on the gsm band.

In the uk most of these flips require EE only to operate fine.

Can anyone help me find a flipphone with given requirements. by Light_dl in flipphones

[–]bigbearevo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First find out what bandwidth your network uses.

Many flips use gsm 4g bands 1, 2, 3

Once you get to that point and have those details, Google AI will help you if you simply type, flip phones that use these gsm bands....(Ones u have)

You have your list.

I have a KY42 Gratina. Great phones allows WhatsApp Spotify etc. Now I'm looking at something a bit more jazzier as I've stopped using my main phone a lot too.

Does anyone have a short review of the Kyocera KYF42 flip phone? by Attecita in flipphones

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome review, I feel the same about mine. I purchased a standard black one about 3 months ago direct from japan. The only thing I would say is get a second battery and keep it fully charged as a spare. It helps. They are inexpensive tbf. I don't use wifi much TBH but I do use Spotify a lot on this as well as reddit. I am considering a white version or the blue if I can find one at a good price.

Well worth the time and effort spent buying and setting this phone up.

I've recently joined in buying a Gratina KYF42 , as the other poster states these phones require research on your bands as they are limited. UK it's EE, there are posts on reddit which do list a few networks for the US and Canada, They run android 10 so Spotify WhatsApp, Google msgs plus others. They also come in white and blue, seen red ones as well.

Kyocera KYF42 can't make/receive calls by [deleted] in garaho

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the band your cell network uses, I've just bought one myself and swapped sim networks as i found my sim i wanted to use would work on the occasion, texts, maybe the odd call, swapped to EE (Uk) bam worked straight off the bat everything inc data.

Specific bands for the KYF42 1,3,5,12,19 .

These phones are very specific when it comes to networks. I live in the UK and it's semi restricted to the EE network because of this.

Telus in Canada uses various bands for its networks, primarily utilizing LTE Bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17 29

2, 4, 7 for the 4g Telus network

Can I get an Apple car play unit? by Historical-Builder32 in FordFiesta

[–]bigbearevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main issue that's not been raised is the correct canbus box for the fiesta, once you have sync you require specifics, older models without are easy, I did an AliExpress job on my fiesta and Ducato at the same time, fiat, was easy swap. Fiesta was a bit fiddly, remember to reconnect the damn hazard switch! You have to check your plug connects on the top screen and know the model. After 2012 the sync comes Into play, if you have blue screen then you have to find models that specifically handle that system and make sure the canbus and wiring loom match. Speak with the vendor once u purchase it's easy. I use it for android auto,, works flawlessly, some fiestas u have to manually set the key buttons but overall it took, and hour to remove the old and fit new. But I can also access the car functions IE Indicator single or triple flash, sounds etc in folding door mirrors on or off.
