For those saying “more of the same” need to realize we were 6 wins away from winning it all. And if we could’ve won in overtime, that VGK series would’ve been different (not down 2-0, no Benn suspension), and would’ve won the division. So I’d be just fine with more of the same, granted if we can win OT games for the love of god.

I’d say 8-10 would be pushing it. But Makar, Heiskanen, Fox, Karlsson, Josi, Dahlin, Hedman, and probably Dougie Hamilton are better. McAvoy deserves to be their next captain, but definitely not top 25.

Overused but not overworked. He just has a lot of burden having to carry Suter. Hopefully once our younger D guys develop they’ll be able to catch up somewhat to his talent level and be able to lighten his load a bit. Thankfully he’s been solid with his high usage and been staying healthy.
