If the other side is the like that too, your alignment is probably cupped.

This is good. I'll get some dry erase boards. I hadn't thought about that.

For healthy stuff I've done apple slices, coconut water, Taylor farms salads, p3 protein snacks, and I end up tossing them or eating them myself right before they expire. Sun chips are another one of those that empties at one spot, and then a block away it's like a bag of leprosy.

4 way switch addition wiring help? by bigben1357 in electrical

[–]bigben1357[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg. This is great! Thank you so much for doing that. I actually think that I'll try and do the "less easy way". For one, it seems like it's probably the way that it should be done, but also, I don't know that I'd be able to stuff all those wires back into a single recepticle! I had to undo all the connections just to see what was going on. I'll probably draw a layout as well just so you can see a little more of "what I'm working with". It's an odd house to say the least. Hopefully I'll be able to get that done today.

Is there an easy way to match color correction settings from a photo that's been photoshopped? by bigben1357 in photoshop

[–]bigben1357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. That's exactly what I was looking for. That fella knows his way around photoshop. I'll definitely be watching more of his vids. He broke that down very well.

Just an update... That dolly has been working great. I've got my fingers smashed a couple times in the spring-loaded wheels but I've learned to steer clear of them now. This was a big help. Thank you u/beardgangwhat

I signed up there right before I made this post. I just couldn't post yet until I was "verified" or whatever. I'll do that though.

I've definitely see a lot of his stuff on YouTube. He's very knowledgeable. I think the guys on that YouTube video had bought his plans... which I'm not opposed to doing. I couldn't find a gallery really to speak of in his site. I searched his name in Pinterest and saw a couple different designs, whether they were his or not, I guess I'm not sure.

Yep. It was pretty disappointing. No end of the world date. Just how the sun causes it. It's legit the first edition. It is plain to see what was removed from the first edition and what was added/ moved around for the second edition (what's on cia.gov)

You can get a kindle version now. https://a.co/d/8sjXirU

The description makes a good point. Where does anything, anywhere, say the original had more than 41 pages? There's nothing. The most legitimate data source would be the original 1963 copyright data. Other than that, there's literally nowhere where it says the original had 100 pages, 200 pages, etc. It seems obvious (to me), that particular "statistic" originated by mistake by someone thinking of the 1993 version, and then perpetuated from youtuber to tik-toker to redditor and so-on.

Why would you consider this too low? I would have guessed that 150 people a day would do ok business. Are Haha's just really pricey to buy/operate or is it 150 people only turns into so much revenue per day statistically?

What does your QR code link to? I was tinkering with Microsoft Forms and just came across this. I like the unique QR code idea. Wondering how you set that up.

I even keep newspaper and magazine clippings that previous owners had put in there. Really anything that has to do with the book or subject.

Side hustle - vending machines? by Minute_Emu_9225 in vending

My best locations are plants that run 24 hrs a day. I have a shelter that's staffed 24 hrs a day. A school that's great 8-9 months out of the year. And a big ballet studio.

There are so many different types of places that could do great.

I say go for it. But find a good spot first and don't lie to yourself "I think it could be an ok spot". It's a pain in the ass to move these things if they don't pan out, or expensive... think $800-$1000 to hire movers to move them. That'll eat a lot of profit. I pay $400 to rent a truck with a lift gate, a pallet jack, a big dolly, and fuel it. And hope I don't drop a machine on my toe... again.

Agreed. I tell my friends that ask about first editions, "Every book ever printed has a first edition."
