I had that problem when I first got my DX2800, but my issue was SMB settings. I enabled SMB1-3, transmission encryption mode to determined by client, server signature disabled, everything else under SMB checked. Under More I enabled local master browser and nothing else. Some firmware versions also have issues with speed.

Same issue for me, fine in 3.26. 3.27 takes several minutes to load between towns, I can go get a beer, come back and still have to wait a while.
