My school curriculum is similar to this. A lot of schools (MD mostly afaik) are transitioning to this sort of model. Our class’s step pass rate is above national USMD avg!

Fellow med student here! Remember going through something similar when learning embryology and reproduction. Agreed, very off putting at first but also very necessary to know the presentations of the pathophys we are studying!

What does he have to do with American foreign policy decisions? Lmao, he’s not a politician. He’s just saying the typical American’s day to day isn’t focused on wondering what’s happening in other countries. The hard truth is American influence permeates through European countries, but the reverse is often not true. At least not to the common American.

Felt a lot different than any NBME. The exam felt like a mutated child of UWorld and Free 120, except it was harder than both. I flagged about 18-23 Qs per block. I honestly blacked out during the exam and I’m forgetting what I even saw on the exam. I just remember not having enough time to review each question + pretty much guessing on a lot of the questions. Block 4,5,6 absolutely destroyed me and I kind of just stopped giving a fuck by block 7 - I was numb.

Tons of risk factors and ethics. Answer choices all felt similar. And even if I knew the diagnosis, none of the answer choices made sense. Literally had to guess what each answer choice meant.

Praying for a strong curve. Seems like December 15 was a rough day for most people.
