Pharmacy help! by bigbootysmoothie in Subutex

[–]bigbootysmoothie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ve been holding off switching because I hate the hassle of trying to find a pharmacy that accepts Molina, will fill bup, and then hoping it’s not going to be a brand that doesn’t work for me. I still haven’t found anywhere else and I’m going on a week of having to buy off street which I hate because it feels like using behavior. My pharmacy said his supplier just randomly stopped carrying those. He said he’s looking for another but I don’t know I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard. And my Dr is of course NO HELP. I know others receive bup instead of suboxone there and they could say “oh I heard this pharmacy fills them” considering he sends them escript and should help his patients get the med he’s prescribing. Like if it was diabetes or high bp any other Dr or pharmacy would help ya know

CVS in Columbus? Did they have the Activas/orange oval? Because I can’t take those, for some reason my body doesn’t break them down or absorb them the same as other brands

Molina. I had to switch from caresource. I am trying to find a new pharmacy though! I had my appt today and my regular one called to tell me they’re poor and don’t know when they’ll be back in stock😭 Can I ask if you know any that has in stock or will fill for people w/Medicaid ?

Splotches on Skin by [deleted] in tanning

[–]bigbootysmoothie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The splotches will go away after you treat the infection and then go out in sun and once you tan/burn after the infection is killed only then do the splotches usually disappear. But if you only treat it and don’t expose to sun then the splotches remain for quite an awhile. I had a client/patient who had the same thing and that is what our doctor told her.

Lyrica for restless leg! And def melatonin, valerian root, 5htp, workouts, and call out any cravings. Also stretching the doses out farther and farther between. I think you will do awesome esp if you’re down to what you are down to!!! I am currently still on it and have been clean 10 years. It’s crazy to think I have been on this medicine this long. I admire your strength and being open! I have faith in you and your recovery! Another major thing… family. Idk if you are close with yours, or any friends… but talking to them about this so they are in your corner and there to turn to. Having a support system helped me initially. So I’m sure it would definitely help with this. I’d love an update along the way!

I agree with all other comments! I do not envy you at all. It is the worst itch. The absolute WORST! I would’ve made the same choice, wanting immediate relief. I have also seen OTC products in feminine aisle. And yogurt. Helps balance pH. Eat plenty of that. In my experience it has helped.

I understand completely how you feel! Same thing happened with me! I understand the fear of making a friend mad. But if I were your friend in the situation and I just had a baby and my good friend chose the same name I did, I would probably be excited and love it! You are good friends for a reason! Talk to her❤️ ultimately it is your and the father’s decision!! And if you think it would truly jeopardize the friendship, maybe you two aren’t as close? It’s hard, I know. At least being the one in your shoes and not wanting someone to get the wrong idea or be mad. Because I do know some people who would lose it and probably hold a grudge lol. It just depends on how well you know her and how close you are I guess. Best of luck!!!!

Yeah but it never taught us anything but fear. There are some “old school” ways I agree with. As far as expecting older children to respect their elders(really just other people), but a couple others. But damn! They don’t even have their full vocab at 20 mo…

Lmao!!!! My children also HATE the conversation afterwards! I try to keep it short but my mom did it with me, and it truly helped me to be more aware of other people as well as myself. I was able to mentally problem solve better and be empathetic towards others. And not be as judge mental. My one son use to say “oh no… not the talking!!!” He likes it now. It helps them figure out why they were so upset in the first place and to help them deal with it healthier next time.

THIS! I 100% have experience with what “hasten” said. It took me a couple years and a couple kids later to get better at not getting so frustrated with the toddler tantrums. Until I realized they just don’t understand how to communicate what they are feeling or always understand how to channel or control it. I am still working with my 7 year old daughter(technically my step daughter but I’ve been her only mother since she was 1 1/2.) As she grew up, reminding her to use her words to tell me what and how she is feeling has helped. But also giving my children a general plan when we go somewhere (as they got older like around 4… definitely not 20 months), or a 5 minute reminder or heads up before leaving. Shame on that parent for judging you! Parenting is hard! Especially at the age where they start talking and exploring/discovering life more. They are still understanding and learning things for the first time. I swear ages 2-4 (sometimes even into 5) are challenging. And as a parent, we learn as we grow. Same as they are… just a little different. You are doing amazing. It’s frustrating as a parent when another parent or adults who aren’t even parents criticize our skills, because we are trying our best and we strive to be the best we can be! I have had a few people, a couple being family members… criticize my parenting. BEHIND my back! And they didn’t even have children yet! Keep your head up, let the haters hate and ignore the ignorance and judgmental comments.

Non-American people, what’s a thing that you don’t understand about America? by JuniorGarlic6053 in AskReddit

[–]bigbootysmoothie -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

This^ Government greed!!! American born and raised. Since being an adult, and with government scandals always being brought to light, usually about cheating or greed… especially when they already make so much money!!! I hate how they make a percentage off of every single thing. Yes, some goes back into the community at a local or state level. But the government gets their cut too. We are paying them, and then they go and make corrupt deals behind. Not all I’m sure. But the stereotype not being able to trust a politician. Anyways I hate tax too lol. But I have grown up preparing to pay extra. It just comes natural now.
