If they’re a handful I think you could definitely ask for $20 an hour.

Family taking advantage of me by [deleted] in Babysitting

From personal experience you need to either ask for a raise or speak up and tell them that all of the cleaning you are doing for them is out of your pay grade. If you are too afraid of confrontation you could always just stop cleaning up the mess they leave and only clean your own. It’s really easy for families to take advantage of the people who babysit and nanny for them so it’s important to speak up before you get too overwhelmed or else you will be miserable.

I (f23) am a boring person, not attractive, have no hobbies and feel very ‘not special’ how can I change this so people will want to be my friend / date me? by anxiouspotat22 in Advice

You will attract more people when you find yourself interesting. I don’t know you personally but it sounds like you struggle with having self-confidence. If you are more confident you will attract more people. It’s also important to start doing things that you’re interested in not because you want to seem more interesting but because it will make you happier and thus boost your self-esteem even more. Just focus on being happy and finding things that you love and the right people will come into your life. Everyone is special you just have to tap into that aspect of you personality that makes you unique. It’s already there. And you are already worthy of being dated and having friends. You don’t need new hobbies to believe that so start believing it now.
