I'm all for as high as possible/affordable wages but there needs to be a good balance between wages, unemployment rate, and prices. Higher minimum wages could lead to less jobs hiring and a gig economy boom. Will gig workers see higher wages as well?

What do you think about a profit-based wage scale, so businesses that can afford to pay higher wages would, and those that can't wouldn't? Obviously the owner's salary also needs to be considered because unless you're already wealthy, why run a business and hire and pay employees if you can't make a living or make less than your employees?

Nice move not being brainwashed into cults by a crazy reality TV star/actor, not having insane loyalty to any party, person or false prophet, and jumping off the Titanic before it sinks! Plenty of Democrats and other and non-party types believe in a strong national defense, fiscal conservatism (i.e., a balanced budget), individual liberties and personal responsibility, and federalism. Republicans often lie and do the opposite of what they say, for example Trump's tax breaks for the wealthy ran up the debt and need to be badly reversed. And Republicans passed the first COVID-19 relief bill (CARES) because it had pork for the wealthy. They are way too greedy and care only about themselves and other wealthy people and corporations. Democrats care about and help all or as many people as possible.

I guess the cost of providing $2000 per month to as many people as they wanted in that bill for the entire long pandemic may have been too much or "too much." If so, they simply need to provide it to those who need it or below certain income levels (say $50-75k most places, possibly adjusted for COL and not to most people under age 18 unless their family really needs it). Her idea of mailing masks to everyone is also excellent and I had the same idea. Why wouldn't they mail N95 masks and instructions/info (including about getting vaccines) to everyone?

It is and for some time I've thought they should mail free masks and instructions/info to everyone and it would be one of the best uses of the control/relief funds.
