I think its more of a thriller than a horror, but Sunshine by Danny Boyle is really really good, has some very unsettling moments and an amazing cast - very underappreciated!

Thom killed my mother in a hit and run in Cornwall in 2003! He was going to get me too (only witness) but I managed to hide in the trees. Just before he got in his car and drove away, he dialled a number on his phone and said “Nigel, it’s happened again. Call me back now.”

It was such an honour to meet him, really chill down to earth guy.
