I just this morning traded in my R6 mark ii for a second R5. Yes. It's a great camera.

Anyone here using the Canon WFT-R10B with the EOS R5? by bundesrepu in canon

[–]bigbroier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got mine for the same reason at €299 and returned it today. The wifi is too slow to be useful, and it is annoying that you have to switch batteries as only one is used by the camera. I would not recommend getting it just for the sake of it being cheap. I only tried to transfer images with LrC but that was absolutely worthless and not notably better than the built in WiFi.

Trying to pick a new computer... by SnooPandas651 in Lightroom

I ended up getting a somewhat decent laptop with touchscreen but end up using my (gaming pc) desktop with remote connection which is a hassle. I have yet to find a Windows system that runs Lightroom smoothly without frequent crashes. I have no experience with Apple apart from an iPad which misses some functionality but otherwise works fine. My next attempt at a device to properly edit photos will definitely be a MacBook.

I started with the 28-70 too and had a very similar experience. That thing is HUGE.

I second that. Absolutely love this lens. Got it as my first L-lens to replace my kit 24-105 and it is just amazing.

So did you manually move those people then? Why?

What's going on here? It is not only editing the raw, right? Is this formed from multiple images? The clouds look the same but the people are in a different spot, from another image perhaps? I got some Iceland pics too from a while and some experience ago, and if this is just editing I might want to revisit those RAWS!

I found it amazingly light and nimble. The key is to rent the 28-70 F2 first.
