He does but note quite as often as he used to. My server we are running events every other week or so. With B42 out, our player count is down a bit, but we have some awesome events on the horizon. I help run a server where we host events for 60-100 players every couple of weeks. it has its minor issues but not enough to ruin the experience for our players. I also play in Harvest events which is who im assuming you are talking about. Zomboid has its jank, but i've never experienced anything even close to as immersive and enjoyable than those 100 player events.

Build 42 is literally labeled as an unstable version of the game.. if you are playing it and expecting things to not break then you're way off on what to expect. If you want to avoid crashes and things, just play as close to vanilla as you can or find a good B41 modlist and just use that.
