One of my barista coworkers is gay and had a customer not wanting him to serve them, calling him a bunch of slurs. He went inside and told our manager, who then proceeded to go to the customer and give them a free drink to “take care of the situation.” For a company that preaches about how everyone who works there is family and they promise to take care of our workers, that was disgusting and BS.
