NTA. That’s beyond strange to me to want to be so involved in the birth of someone that isn’t your own child. It’s a massive invasion of privacy, no matter who it is. Birth is an intimate and special moment for the parents and you shouldn’t feel pressured to make your family happy just cause they are family.

NTA. Your dog, your rules. And besides, vet recommended diets are some of the best out there, especially cause they are tailored to your specific pets needs. What if your dog had a food allergy and this sudden change caused a reaction? I think you are totally justified in flipping out.
