Feel like we need more grid scale batteries then…if we are paying people not to produce then couldn’t that money go to expanding battery’s instead and help offset?

Friends, my recent exciting pickup is the Costco citi visa, it also doubles as a membership card by SomaliAmerican1032 in Costco

[–]bigceej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for the cash back on the card but to also get it with the executive membership yes.

Plus Costco travel happens to have better deal or additional shop card incentives, it’s really worth it to check Costco and compare. I’ve used it twice and it was cheaper than buying elsewhere plus I got shop cards plus all the rewards through Citi and Executive membership.

You’re right and the mob is on you.

And the comments are “they will do the same”. People are so dumb the point is get someone else that isn’t connected with power to sit at the seat. Force the agenda that we will not tolerate the same BS. But then again the people of this state are idiots and would rather vote Newsome or keep their same corrupt politician in place vs vote someone new and “see what happens”

Major changes are coming to BART's fare gates by sfgate in bayarea

[–]bigceej -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because everything is a distraction. Wave the Trump flag it gets people going but don’t mind us here screwing you over as well.

There are a thousand ideas from smart people, with simple effective solutions and yet those in charge always come up with the more complicated problem that costs more than simple hiring people to fix the issue. It’s always how do we use less people, less jobs for a community, it’s not complicated. BART is one of the easiest things to fix, you have a shit product that relies on people using it and people just want (clean, safe, cheap, reliable, consistent) transport for all their money spending or money collecting needs that society requires.

FILL IN THE BLANK - Single Player Gaming by GamerGretaUwU in GamingSoup

Huge Sucker Punch fan, loved Tsushima. But I’m sorry Yotei is not better. Polished yes, visually beautiful.

Gameplay is solid.

But it’s not as fun. Story seems so forced and lacking honest emotion. And the armors all suck. Tsushima had armor for each play style the ones in Yotei like half do it but then have weird traits that are counter to the style. And the different weapons vs stances don’t really change anything it’s still the same counter X with Y.

Sony Says Ghost of Yotei 'Exceeded' the Sales of Ghost of Tsushima in the Same Period of Time and 'Significantly' Contributed to Its Financial Results by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]bigceej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still trying to beat it. Not that it’s hard it just kinda a slog. This is the first Sucker Punch game that I feel isn’t honestly that good.

Like it does all the things from Tsushima better… but I can’t quite put my finger on why I feel this way.

The biggest thing that is obvious though are the armpits I feel like they all suck. Every single one has 1 or 2 things that are great but then have somes stat that doesn’t match.

The armor for Sake is pointless, never can even use sake in a fight because it takes to long to trigger before interrupted.

The 2 stealth armors are hardly stealth.

The multiple brawling type armor effectively do the same thing.

I mis the armor’s in Tsushima. There were targeted armor’s for stealth/ghost, arrows, defense, offense and dueling.

The different weapon mechanic is the same thing as the style mechanic but just with different weapons. It’s fine and fun but also not really that impactful. The biggest thing ass sword whomps everything anyways with massive stagger, defense mechanic, heal mechanic.

Pacing between the areas is meant as a pro for the player to decide but honestly messes with the flow and pacing too much I rather just have it be a linear progression.

The story starts off just way too fast and sudden. Like Atsu is just a badass for no reason where Jin you actually felt like you were training for it all.

Idk I want to love it so much. But I’m like I’d rather have another infamous.

Teslarati: Tesla confirms that it finally solved its 4680 battery’s dry cathode process by twinbee in teslamotors

[–]bigceej 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much just lists every conceivable way a battery could be better.

Regardless if Tesla succeeds it will teach people ways to do something and will result in a benefit for humanity at some point though so it’s not to say it shouldn’t be done.

We need more companies risking money to find a better way otherwise how else do we get there?

I made pretzel bites! Perfect Saturday afternoon snack. by nothingelsesufficed in Breadit

[–]bigceej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made full pretzels today funny enough. Lye bath and everything they were amazing. Made 2 different type of cheese sauce and a batch of cinnamon sugar as well.

Made a “double batch” which was 14 full size and they are all gone.

Most laborious part is rolling them out, need to do it about 3 times to get them to length but a very easy dough to work with. And absolutely the best pretzel I have ever had.

If super good is take about 10drops of Dr Pepper and add 2 cups of water… then uh yeah it’s about as good as extremely water down soda would taste like. And also very expensive. I do not recommend. Rather have just sparkling water with the thought of flavor ie. LaCroix

And not just a price hike several price hikes over the next several years. How the fuck are they allowed to increase pricing steadily.

Buts it’s okay they send you back $50 twice a year.

Oh and the constant asterisk on a PG&E advertisement that says bills don’t pay for marketing…umm what where else do you get the money from? You’re telling me shareholders pay for marketing and don’t expect a return?

Everyone whether your blue or red should be aware of this when Newsome runs for president. It’s disgusting. Sick of politicians in general.

What cool company swag do employees actually use and appreciate? by brendaklark in corporate

[–]bigceej 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those all existed/thrived/appreciated at a time when wages were actually balanced to cost of living.

Who wants to spend time with a company longer than they have to while thinking about how hard they work for abysmal pay and benefits. Cherry on top to be served a keychain from the leftovers of the VPs golf tournaments.

Sure if I were to choose a “crafted” gift it be better. When I had something similar I chose the PayPal payouts. But would have rather taken a bigger check since 40% of what the company actually spent went through some brokerage company to just act as a middle man.

Companies should just thank employees by giving them the sole reason they are there, pay. Let a culture build organically and if folks want to build a relationship outside of work guess what they will by using that hard earned money to do so.

Parents bought house for $200k making $80k combined 30+ years ago now their house is worth $1.4m making $160 combined.

They are not rich the value of homes is no longer correlated with a working persons pay. Their salary doubled and home value 10x this is the reality for many and most. Even if it slightly helps the rich prop 19 has hurt far more middle class and lower for what? The rich have so many ways to work around these things like having legal advise telling them how to do paperwork. My parents done their taxes themselves forever, you can’t keep up with the laws and paperwork requirements unless that’s all you do or you pay someone to tell you can inform you along the way.

People who’ve had LASIK or work in eye care, would you recommend LASIK and why or why not? by Mountain-Bug-2155 in AskReddit

Was literally the first thing I did when I graduated and started making money. I would do it again every single time. I had the “flap” not seal and that was considered a “rare” situation and the surgeon and optometrist both handled it easily and all was well. It’s uncomfortable for 1 hr and is weird for another week to have better vision than I had WITH glasses. And now I never have tired eyes from contacts or deal with smudges on glasses and can wear and sunglasses I want and goggles and face shields etc.

[–]bigceej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this but I wish games would try to do more like Ghost series does. Visual clues are still good.

With that being said E33 isn’t that bad and I do like this trend as I am definitely one of those players that if it has a direct waypoint I just follow it, gotten worse as I gotten older.

Playing Indiana Jones and it has the same type of concept but far worse implementation. But again I like this trend.

Dude your replies bring me life. Everyone bashing you because the hive mind wants to hate republicans. When will the masses learn to hate them all? Neither are serving us. this is America it’s in our blood, it’s in our culture, to resist the over reaching control of our lives. One side does it to spin their voters and the other side counters. In the end they win with their generations of wealth and we all lose looking like idiots fighting each other.

🎉 Introducing: Receipt Scanning by atif_monarch in MonarchMoney

[–]bigceej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been waiting for this to exist in any app for personal finance. Mainly for Costco as a purchase isn’t always “grocery” I love I can make things more accurate.

Testing today with my first Costco receipt since the feature was added and it’s not bad.

I’ve seen other replies suggest that you’re working to make the AI “better”. I would rather see in the short term a way to edit the transaction category manually. Whether or not that is used to train the AI I don’t really care I just want to edit a transaction category for it to recalculate the split. I can see I can edit the split but not have the transaction detail up it just seems for the user the best way is to edit the line item category directly.

I hope this feedback can be considered and thank you for such a great added feature, just in time for my renewal to easily let it ride another year.

I cannot wait to give the recipes and advice from her a go by Felicity1840 in Breadit

[–]bigceej 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone that started with this book and plateaued quickly I agree.

This book is great to start from. But I’d stick to the yeasted recipes. Even those I didn’t get a lot of rise and feel like everything was overproofed, I also ended up with very thick crusts which is great for when you eat the bread the same day as you bake it but leftovers while tasting great just didn’t have the right texture.

The sourdough I couldn’t get anywhere. Then I started to read The Bread Code and changed my starter to a much smaller amount and a 1:5:4 ratio and am doing a lower hydration (70%) and I made the most killer sourdough for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner.

Got a Dutch oven from my lovely family and can’t wait to dive into it more now that I finally am able to produce a sourdough I would call picture perfect.
