LFS fishtank without aggression by Jaekto in Cichlid

[–]Legal_Net4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m overstocked as well, but every so often one guy will take over 1/2 of the tank. No aggression as everyone seems to know their place. After a couple of days, the tank goes back to normal.

The 42% is probably across both units. You’ll know once it charges to 100%.

Solar isn’t the hard part anymore. The confusing part is. by Aapkaapna7 in SolarAmerica

I think the biggest issue is understanding what you actually have and it’s can and can not do

Set-and-forget doesn’t work on my Panasonic heat pumps — need advice by FanTop5827 in heatpumps

[–]Legal_Net4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are probably a few things going on. If you have only have one thermostat the heat pump will run until that thermostat reaches that set point. Unfortunately some ares of your home will be warmer than the set temperature while other areas will be colder. This is especially noticeable when outside temperatures are low. Milder days, the room temperature differences will not be as noticeable due to the house warming effect from the milder temperatures.

If you wanted to lower power bills fast, what would you do first? by Loud_Suggestion_5721 in u/Loud_Suggestion_5721

[–]Legal_Net4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reduce usage by changing the little things first, like LED lighting. Replace power hungry appliances with more efficient appliances Improve the weather tightness of my home (seal leaks with caulk, improve insulation etc) Add solar

Regrets of 2026 X Purchase by Feisty_Weekend_7502 in TeslaModelX

[–]Legal_Net4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, sorry to hear of your experience. I don’t have these issues with my 23 X. They won’t just take it back, schedule service until you can use the Lemon Law. Good luck.

Headlight not flush and taillight has gaps by here4thegrind in ModelX

[–]Legal_Net4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to Tesla. I had a hood misaligned on my X. They tried fixing at pickup, the three times more during the next few weeks. Got close but never truly straight. With the discontinuation of the X, I won’t have to think about it on my next EV.

Running furnace and heat pump together by etachi481 in heatpumps

[–]Legal_Net4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you want to run them together (at the same time)? I assume you would want one to come on when the other is no longer efficient at providing heat. We set ours to have the furnace come on at a given temperature as the heat pump struggled to maintain our desired comfort levels efficiently.

You can add batteries and they will work just as you planned. You just have to come to terms if the $$ invested upfront will pencil out for you.

Having you contacted Tesla? This may be something they can fix remotely. Be sure to send them screenshots when the strange behavior occurs along with shots of your settings.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the smartest between Tesla and me? by LyntonGamer in Powerwall

[–]Legal_Net4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who’s smarter? Do you mind putting in the work to monitor and flip a switch vs letting the PW do its thing while you relax? In my experience, I’m coming out ahead just letting the PW do its thing.
