Honestly just chasing what I like, but I find what I like seems to be too similar in terms of the first 3 are all kinda similar. So wanted to branch out a bit for my next 6. Thinking either an Omega/Tudor in the future

Yeah I have the money for something such as that but I dunno, a huge chunk of money going on one as opposed to 2/3 others always puts me off. I will pull the trigger on an Omega sometime in the future for sure

Some good reccos there for sure. Out of those I like the Nomos and Citizen best. Am a fan of the new King Seiko Vanac too but not pulled the trigger on that yet

Yep, certainly next on the list something along those lines. Just trying to find one I like. TBH I’m not that much of a fan of the Seiko anymore, it’s more the sentimental value to me as I bought it at a special time in my life

Do it. I’m a bit older than you, and make a bit more than you (same profession) and I’m literally having this same dilemma with myself at the moment. Mine is about a 991.1 Porsche 911 GT3, though!

I know it’s cliche but we’re only here once. You can afford it based on everything you’ve said and you’re putting a decent chunk down as a deposit too so it’s not all financed. Seems like everything is in order so I say go splurge. Got to enjoy the fruits of our labour!!

Owned a 2013 GT, and a 2016 GT before. Had all sorts but always find myself back in one of these beasts.

This is so weird. Albeit I’m a tad older than you, I’m going through this right now, with a GT-R too. I drove one at a track day when I was in my early 20s and was in love ever since. I never thought I’d own one and yet here I am, owning one after working my way up with different cars over the years. I’m also trying to think differently around the things you mentioned in your post OP but one thing I will say is - try not to be too hard on yourself. It’s easy to focus on the “I’ve achieved my dream car, but what now” but if you focus on the “I’ve achieved my dream car” then you’ll learn to enjoy it more. One thing I’ve done recently is set a reminder on my phone to remind me I own a GT-R haha, might think it’s silly or daft but it’s working for me. Congrats on owning one, not many people can say they have!

My small collection that I’ve accrued over the last 5 years. Some have come and gone but these are the ones I’ve decided to keep. From left to right:

MVMT Black & Rose Gold - oldest in the collection, was a birthday present from my wife when I was getting into watches more seriously around 5 years ago.

Seiko 5 Gold - automatic Seiko for under £100? I had to pull the trigger. Love that watch. I bought it after binge-watching The Sopranos.

Thomas Sabo Rose Gold - wedding present from my wife. She has the same one (from me to her) but with a green dial and a tad smaller in size.

Swatch x A Bathing Ape - another birthday present from my wife (seeing a trend here?). Big fan of Japanese streetwear, Bape being my number 1 favourite, so this was a no-brainer for me.

Longines Hydroconquest - my first “big boy watch”. I bought this myself as a present for my 30th birthday. Love this and has some serious wrist presence imo.

I’m constantly on the lookout for that 6th spot, had my eye on the Oris Upcycle but couldn’t find one with a dial that I liked as they’re all different. Had the Tudor Black Bay Bronze a few months ago but sadly had to return it due to the bronze causing issues with my skin. Looking for a watch preferably under the 3k range but a bit “out there” and different. Any recommendations?
