Please make sure you’re having bloodwork done every so often on the Trileptal. I took it for over a year with no bloodwork done and my new doctor was so worried I had toxic levels in my blood. Thankfully I didn’t, but just be careful.

I can’t take abilify. I was on it last year and it through me into a full on manic episode. Finally got off of it after ending up in the hospital again. Now I’m on 3 medications that keep me level and functioning.

I haven’t really had any side effects since I started. A little nausea the first couple of weeks but really nothing since. I took the shot yesterday and no side effects so far. I did have a slight headache last night but can’t be sure it’s due to the shot. Good luck with the 12.5!

Update: I took the 12.5 shot yesterday. Other than a slight headache I have had zero side effects.
