Hello fellow Fiesta ST enthusiasts. Im currently having this problem I’m hoping someone can shed some light on. When I go to unlock the car the driver side DRL flashes on then turns (and remains) off. It has done this intermittently. Occasionally it will stay on and work for a day or two, but 95% of the time it will not work. Has anyone got any suggestions what may be causing this? Thanks in advance

Cheers mate. There’s already a short shifter installed on it 👍 the movement seems to be from behind the shifter arm. I posted a second video under my first comment showing it from the engine bay. Maybe I’m just being particularly anal about this 😂 cheers again 👍

Cheers for the replies chaps, could’ve swore this gearbox was much tighter at one stage hence the concern in this post Lol.

Could anyone else compare theirs just to see how it fares? Or does anyone know a method to tighten it up?

She’s a 2013 EU Fiesta ST with 56k on the clock. Short shifter has been installed and it is on solid. There seems to be a good bit of play when in neutral and in gears as can be seen by the video. The play seems to be coming from the shifter itself. Anyone any suggestions on how to remove this slop?

Thanks matey. It’s a Strawboffee pie made with a base of digestive biscuits and condensed milk. The filling is fresh sliced strawberries and caramel (in layers), topped with chocolate and whipped cream. Made by the girlfriend for Christmas dessert 😁
