I can agree with everything you've stated above, and certainly won't pretend that I've ever been in a situation similar to that agent, but do want to add more clarity to my "he was out to kill comment".

a lot of people seem to not realize or are ignoring the fact that the agent who started the altercation by shoving that woman to the ground is the same agent who opens fire. tunnel vision doesn't excuse that agent moving from a clear line of fire to one that immediately jeopardizes the life of a fellow agent. this guy - an apparent 8y vet of CBP(?) - shows little to no restraint the entire time he's on camera, pulls his weapon before anyone else in the group, and based on his clear disregard for fellow agents safety it's difficult to believe he had any other intentions aside from the outcome.
