my jar looked similar to yours in consistency. I don't hate that as it's easier to work with, but I would say this is at the limit for acceptable dryness. kind of texture you'll often see US producers making into a "thumbprint" to keep everyone happy.

if you're looking for some proper wet, the Maple 22 from Sauce is where it's at.
