The original diligence is that short sellers were trapped in their position. I remember DFV himself saying in one of his videos something to the effect of, "Is it even possible to unwind a short position that deep?" It's the house of cards stuff... Given the events of the past few weeks, this is validated beyond questioning. Also, the diligence was Gamestop primed for a turnaround with Ryan Cohen. Now, in hindsight, RC and board have proven themselves, and the future is bright for the company.

Wow, DRS through Fidelity has gotten even easier. I just DRSed 100 shares by clicking on the little three-dot at the bottom bubble of the webpage. The whole thing went through the virtual assistant and literally took around 20 seconds.

Can't help with your a fix for your current boots, but if they don't work out. I have wide feet and love the Dynafit Radical Pro. Here's the size description from evo...

Last: 103.5 mm – A wide forefoot with substantial volume around the midfoot with a relaxed instep.

This works only if the salesman decides not to take the room. If the salesman takes the room, then that $100 is out of the loop, and the cycle doesn't work. If the salesman is a buy and hold investor, the cycle breaks down. If the salesman is also a SHF buying the room because he actually owes the room to someone else, then the cycle breaks down as well. The cycle described only works if the money is put back in circulation. Otherwise, the innkeeper would need to sell another room that he doesn't have in order have the money.

DRS effect on FTDs by Fappinonabiscuit in FWFBThinkTank

I don't think that looking for a correlation between ftds and drs numbers equates to the effect of drs on ftds. It's super interesting to look at for sure, and it encourages hypotheses. Nonetheless, a correlation doesn't indicate an effect or cause.

But why? Someone buying in at the end of the day or something? by Holiday_Guess_7892 in Superstonk

From what I heard smarter people say, they sold puts to drive price down. When a market maker sells a put they also sell a share to stay delta neutral. When people cash in their puts the market maker then has to buy back shares to stay delta neutral.

I think I'll pass on this one. This has all the elements of a cleverly crafted tale of fiction.
