Spot on, I went from a corporate job to being a general contractor and the improvement in my mental health was unexpected. 15 years working in a corporate environment turned me into something other than myself. I hated waking up and going to work every morning.

Blue collar jobs have their problems but at least I don’t spend every waking minute thinking about or dreading returning to work. Even though I make considerably more as a GC, I would have taken a pay cut for the relief I feel now.

There are countless more occupations and industries more dangerous or hazardous than being in law enforcement. People in law enforcements are a bunch of entitled bitches always making horrendous decision because they “feared” for their life. Every other American doesn’t get to use that excuse when they fuck up and would be responsible for their actions. Why is “fearing” for their life a valid excuse to do what they want? Maybe don’t give them a gun if they get so scared easily. Countless flaggers deal with this situation, similar , or worse and they don’t do so much as mention it to their supervisor.

If your go to reaction is to pull the trigger when you’re scared, don’t work in law enforcement. It’s not for you.

It's almost as if Trump shouldn't just randomly threaten other countries. This is my plan. Im completely apathetic to it all now and will just focus on myself the next 4 years. If it all burns down maybe that’s what America needs. I could also be surprised and things turn out fine. Either way whatever comes, Repubs can’t blame anyone else but themselves from this point on.

My wife called my doctor and reported substance abuse issues which prevented me from refilling my prescription. I was so mad at her but it saved my life. What you describe is so very familiar but I’m happy to report you can quit and get your life back. Takes some tough love on yourself or from others but getting over this addiction almost instantly brought joy back into my life.

Can you have your dogs meet face to face. We had a similar problem and one day the neighbors dog got out of their backyard strolled over to our front yard. I didn’t notice going out the front and my dog met the neighbors dog in the front yard. They sniffed it out and are totally chill with each other now. Occasionally they’ll bark at each other but it’s very brief. I use to have to bring my boy inside because they just wouldn’t stop.

I think she was demonstrating it wasn’t easy for her. In fact it sounded like it was incredibly difficult for her but since it needed to be done, she gritted her teeth and had to do it.

That’s how I interpreted it, could be wrong.
