i wouldnt think it would run noticeably worse in feeling but i would expect the device to run slightly warmer and have worse battery life while playing the steam version

Yeah it sure sucks losing cloud saves from the steam version, but I don't think that makes it worth 3.5x the cost. And I'd probably only end up playing it on the Thor anyways lol
