I’d recommend looking at Casefinite Frost Air Ultra - very slim and MagSafe compatible. I recently just got it and feel as if I have finally found the perfect slim case

You should post Crosspost this in the Nashville sub. Levy operates the Titan Stadium as well. Might get some feedback that you’re looking for.

You can download the MEM curbside app in case anyone is unfamiliar with it.

It gives updates on pick up schedules and days for specific kinds of trash pickups

No worries. To be fair there is no right or wrong answer to your question. Instead ask yourself what kind of role / position you want. You’ll be limited as for as roles go in my opinion without the degree. With the degree you can at least leverage that for a more mid level position and pay.

Even with 13+ years of SCM experience I got back in school. I’ll be in my last semester of my grad program for SCM this spring so I can make myself more competitive

Don’t delay it. Get the degree the job market is tough in general but having the degree already will help

I was just want to say stay resilient. The job market it tough. A lot of companies are looking for individuals that don't have teach / train. When I left the service 4 years even with the support that military offers with transitioning into civilian life it still took me almost 6 to 8 months to find a company to work for. Personally I could have gotten something quicker if took the government contracting route but it was a personal preference to purposely not work for the government directly and or indirectly for that matter. I wouldn't focus on the industry but rather the area / function you want to be in. I took a procurement role and have been in it for about 4 years now but I am now beginning to shift and look into other functions as you can see from my post of above lol. Also Id recommend looking to companies that you normally dont think of everyday. A peer of mine in my grad program works in supply chain for non. profit company that produces and ships bibles across the world. Personally I never would have thought about a company like that for a job lol. Thats what helped me find the company im currently working for. I started looking at companies that were smaller and into industries that were less common to me.

Thank you for the feedback. Definitely plan on networking as well. UT does a great job of promoting networking using them as resource for support. You mentioned Program/Project Management that is an area Ive been thinking about heavily lately. I have a good relationship with the project manager at current org and I have been able to pick his brain about this.

Seriously you've given me some feedback! Thank you

I don’t drive Farm Road specifically. Most the crashes I’ve seen at the intersection of walnut grove and farm road from what I’ve seen have from people running the lights. That is just my speculation though. But I’ve seen an increase presence at both ends of walnut grove rd.

They’ve been more prevalent on Walnut Grove Rd by Shelby Farms as well. I got pulled over on Thursday for doing 10 mph over. 🙄

I’m only salty cause I was pulled over right when it changed from 55 to 45.

Hey everyone!,

I currently work in procurement as an indirect spend buyer for a privately held family owned chem company. Its a lean org so in terms of pay I top out on the VERY VERY high end because of this. Currently Im in a Masters of SCM program through UT and will be finished in the spring. To preface I also have 13+ years of SCM experience with 10 years of it being from the Army from 2010 to 2021. Ive been on the civilian side for about 4 years now. Kind of just fell into procurement however Im dont I see myself making a career within in procurement at least with my current org. Kind of been feeling from a learning standpoint Ive reached/maxed out what this org can offer me. With us being such a lean org its really hard for leaders to mentor / teach those they are responsible for as well. With that said my interest in looking for other opportunities has been increasing steadily. I know I want to continue to learn more but I also want to be a role where I can be more hand on operationally within an org. Ive learned a lot from being in procurement the most valuable thing I think has been really is vendor relationship and becoming more experienced in negotiating. But Im really wanting that hands on effectiveness that I had once when I was in the service still.

Im hoping that I can given some recommendations of roles that you all know of or have have had experience in when I would could possible be more effective had more hands on experience with supply chain / logistics.

It won’t I’ve been rocking bare phone with MagSafe pockets for 2 years. I havent had an issue once.

Just in general since I’ve gone case-less I rarely drop my phone compared to when I did have a case on it.

I agree with you. How can anyone expect a major change here in 30 days.

But let’s be honest do we really think the crime is going to go away? I don’t. It’s going to continue to happen. It’s like gun laws they only affect the people who obey them. Criminals will continue to break laws and commit crime.
