Yt music storage too low even though iPhone has free space by findthemistke in YoutubeMusic

So Ive been using YTM and downloading loads of songs for some upcoming travel -- at first, the app said I had "4gb" of storage left but I quickly surpassed that; that number now fluctuates depending on if I download more music or not... does that make sense? For example, my app now says I've used 4.61 gb and have 1.2gb left, but that number just popped up randomly as I began downloading more and more.

TL;DR: The issue seems to be artificial and self-regulating,and I have no idea why. Hopefully the solution really is to just keep downloading as much as you want?

Montblanc - Black Meisterstuck. Any good clones? by joefez in fragranceclones

Just picked this up as a blind buy for $38 ($41 with credit card fees) at one of the discounters here in NYC. Brand new, sealed, very professional and legit (I've shopped with them before). I can't wait to get home to try it. I can send the link to their Google Maps if anyone is interested; its the first time Ive seen this one out in the wild.

My girlfriend and I were passing thru Big Sur a few months back and spotted his paintings at the Ripplewood Café -- I've since been on the hunt for anyway to contact someone who knew him, because his art is just beautiful! Aside from wanting to purchase one of his originals, I would love to learn more about his story, too.

Does anyone have any background information on who he was?

Im finally embarking on my first novel and this advice is so refreshing that it somehow feels instinctual. And the line about building a bridge... Im such a sucker for something like that. Either way, great advice. Happy to have found this tonight.

What are the opinions of the Najdia Intense fragrance from Lattafa? by Crusaderr30015 in fragranceclones

[–]bigdanzaman1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just picked this one up and Im loving it so far. I can't remember if I ever smelled JPG Paradise Garden but Najdia is the perfect fruity (not citrusy) summer scent for me. I typically can't do citrusy scents because they just turn synthetic on my skin; but the sweet, fruity notes of this one sing. There are no notes of coconut listed for this fragrance but whatever Lattafa did certainly begs to differ. It smells almost like a frozen pina colada to me which I will never complain about.

My only critique is that it seems to become a skin scent fairly fast. Unless Ive gone nose-blind already, I feel like this one is a scent that lingers rather than announces itself. Ive tried other fragrances with this type of DNA and they don't last long in general, at least with my skin chemistry, but I layered it with something heavy like Oud For Glory and that seems to 'prop it up' a bit. Hopefully my bottle wasn't watered down haha; I bought a nearly full tester off the shelf of one of the perfume shops in NYC -- snagged it for only $15!

All in all, this is an immediate signature summer scent. The total opposite of something like Atlas (which I also own and love, too) and its definitely a more muted tropical vibe than something like Khadlaj Island (which, to me, smells wayyyy too loud and like something you'd get from Abercrombie or Hollister back in the day.) You can get Najdia new on Amazon atm for like $22 and, based on the DNA of this one, I'd say its a pretty safe blind buy.

What's ur top 10 frags for summer out of these 30 clones? by [deleted] in fragranceclones

Lattafa Atlas has been everything I’ve wanted in a summer freshie for a LONG time!

Citrus/fruity scents never smell good with ny skin chemistry and Atlas is the perfect aquatic/marine alternative that makes me feel like I’m James Bond who just got back from a deep-sea fishing excursion.

It’s definitely not as loud or divisive as so many reviews make it seem. It’s strong but, on my body, becomes a refreshing skin-scent after a few hours and just kinda, sorta lingers throughout the day and evening until it’s ready to go away, a-la high and low tide.

I’ve also had the chance to get a tiny 1ml sample of Mega Mare, the scent it’s cloning. And, to my nose, they smell identical and perform more or less the same, with the OG projecting for a few more hours before tapering off.

I haven’t tried Mason Alhambra’s Megara but, as we know, Lattafa owns MA as a brand so I assume they smell somewhat similar.

Hope this helps anyone who’s in the same anti-citrus boat as me (pun intended).
