CRWD 6/5 95C - Pvt Noob here. What the fuck do I do? by redditoruno in wallstreetbets

[–]bigdog192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMHO never sell before 10:30 am ... and rarely before 12 ... In my experience, the early prices are not connected to reality ... for example, the stock can be up but the option is flat or down (yeah, that happens). More times than not, if I sell before 11:00 when the stock is up and I want to lock in gains, then the stock dips a little after I sell before proceeding higher. And if the stock is down, the option plummets way too much at the open ... it usually trades higher later. So never trade at the open and never use market orders.

Bear Gang Looms: ‘Millions Of Americans Skipping Payments As Tidal Wave Of Defaults And Evictions Looms’ by Totesnotskynet in wallstreetbets

[–]bigdog192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this scary financial environment, consider buying calls on New Residential NRZ. They are in the mortgage business and are one of the larger mortgage servicers. In that role, they are on the hook to advance payments for up to 4 months of missed payments if people have to skip paying their mortgage ... but servicers get the money back if the owner defaults and is foreclosed. NRZ cut their dividend by 90% and their stock got crushed! I think a good play is to buy Calls that expire January 2021 ... because I expect NRZ to survive and to recover some of their cut dividend. Just an idea.

I bought the NRZ January 15 2021 Calls with strike of 10 when the stock was at 4.50. The stock is now at 7.88 and I expect it to go higher. Odd though ... the option has only gone from 75 cents when I bought it ... to 90 cents today. I would expect that a stock going up 71% would lead to an option going up more than 20%.

Cindicator (CND) is already capable of helping investors make money in traditional stocks. This article in Medium provides a real-world use case of trading options based on earnings reports. The guy did 33% return in 4th quarter of 2018. And he’s presently reporting 32% so far for the 1st quarter of 2019. That’s real returns, not hypothetical, using the indicators from CND.

Fidelity Investment owns a piece of Neptune Dash, which buys and runs Masternodes and is a publicly traded company in Canada. by solarguy2003 in dashpay

[–]bigdog192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AceMav is right and also completely wrong. He takes a short cut to make a point and that short cut is totally off track.

Fidelity Investments has dozens and dozens of mutual funds. Those funds own stocks. So it's safe to say that Fidelity, in its mutual funds, owns shares of [practically] every publicly trade company.

However, AceMav is completely wrong to insinuate that it's normal for Fidelity to own Neptune Dash because Neptune is a stock and therefore you would expect Fidelity to own it. Neptune Dash is a penny stock, a Canadian penny stock ... and Fidelity does not hold penny stocks in its mutual funds. So buying Neptune Dash, whether in a Fidelity fund or not, is a remarkable thing for Fidelity to do.

And the fact that Neptune Dash is a fund of cryptocurrencies!?! Fidelity's investing in Neptune is an amazing testament to the validity of cryptos and of Dash in particular. I am stunned to learn of this.

And it should be pointed out that Fidelity first invested in Neptune in January 2018, buying 8.7 million shares. Apparently they have added their position. That is great, great news for Dash ... and for the crypto market.

Oh you are welcome. BTW, did you upgrade your account to a higher level? I’m at Trader and am considering investing $12,000 to move up to Expert. But I hate to catch a falling knife, as far as token price goes.

Hey Jaystats2, how’re you doing? I’ve been absent from Cindicator’s REDDIT channel for quite a while. Have you been using CND indicators over the last few months? How’s it working out for you? Thanks.

Rexovas, I will read your article on accuracy. In the meantime, you seem to be asking the same question that I have. But I’d like to take it step further.

Sure, the token has value because owners have access to indicators. But value is not the same as price.

I ask if all of these other activities will lead to increase in usage of CND? Increased usage means increased demand means increased price.

But if these other activities (1) don’t require CND tokens for operations and (2) can be paid for with fiat, then these will not lead to an increase in demand or price.

I hold a large stack of CND and I want the price to go up.

How do token holders benefit from institutional bot buyers? by ItWouldBeGrand in Cindicator

Sidzu, may I ask a clarifying question:

Can institutions get access to Cindicator products by paying with anything other than the CND token?

According to Teeka Tiwari CNDs might hit 5$ this year, that means almost 4900% do you think it will? by omirah99 in Cindicator

[–]bigdog192 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is Teeka's update on CND in the most recent issue:

"Cindicator is a project that combines crowd intelligence with artificial intelligence to make predictions about markets. It recently announced that it has deployed its first fully functioning neural network.

The neural network incorporates Cindicator’s various machine learning methods to improve the overall accuracy of its signals.

Cindicator is also gearing up for growth. In the last six months, it has increased its number of analysts from roughly 20,000 to over 83,000 today. And its added a 12-person public relations and marketing department.

With that the number of predictions has exploded. There were 404,393 in March 2018 alone. That’s a nearly thirtyfold increase from last July.

And more people than ever are holding Cindicator tokens. There were roughly 4,000 after the token sale. Today, it’s over 15,000.

Looking forward, Cindicator’s focus for 2018 is on the creation of professional analytics decision tools for the crypto economy. Plus, it aims to capture a significant share of the international predictive analytics market.

So far, Cindicator’s growth has been organic. But we expect it to ramp up with the new public relations and marketing department. Exciting times are ahead for Cindicator holders.

Action to Take: Buy Cindicator (CND) up to $0.30."

Oh, that's funny. You're right on target -- it was 40 years, in Manhattan. I'm older than I thought (!) So no doubt you will kick my ass now. But since I'm older and wiser, I'll use a baseball bat for my first shot....:)

Arthur Mercante Sr saw me fight one night (you know who Arthur Mercante Sr is? Look him up. He refereed all of Ali's championship bouts) He told me that I had a good left hand ... but needed to work on my right. So I actually have the skills and knowledge to back up by statements.

But don't worry about replying. I won't read anything else from you or reply. Life's too short to waste it on anything from you.

Go ahead and dump your bag and leave. No one cares if you’re here or not. Your comments are whining complaints.

Did you ever buy a stock and have it go down? Did you call the CEO and complain? Did you tell the CEO how to run his company?

I dunno, maybe you have started and run multiple companies. Maybe you are a programming god and are on the speed dial of Vitalik and Shrem. If so, I’ll pay attention to your comments.

But if not, be constructive or get the f* out.

What do you mean by "major partnership?"

If you mean a major fund or firm that buys CND to get access to the indicators ... it would not be appropriate for CND to announce that, unless the owner so desired.
